Bro I think it is best that you listen to all your choices and decide from there. Mahirap naman kung ibang tao magdedecide for you because ikaw ang gagamit nyan, iba iba kasi tayong taste when it comes to audio/music/HT. Marami namang stores/shops na pwede mong pag-audition like MLY/avshop na nagkekeri ng lahat ng choices mo ;)

We can only give you advices based on your preferences but we can't decide for you...

Guys, just wanted to ask advice between RX1 and Q300.  I have auditioned Q300 but haven't heard the RX1 yet. If anyone have auditioned these both, would love to hear your inputs.  I'll be replacing my Magnat 603 which is paired with Marantz MCR603, just a simple set up for now. Thanks

The onkyo a5vl from avshop partners well with the bx2. i believe entry level integrated amps from cambridge audio and nad should also match properly.

brand new sir i think mga around 20k. halos same price lang sila. kapag preowned, i usually see a nad 315bee for around 10k. there is a cambridge audio 550a for sale by hblind for 13k.

all 3 amps sound warm. pero if i'm going to rank the warmth it's going to be nad>cambridge>onkyo

Hi everyone!

I intend to get either a BX2 or an RX2 as my primary speakers.  I mainly listen to digital files (24/96 FLACs ripped from SACDs and FLACs from normal audio CDs.

Can anyone tell me if it would be ok for me to hook up my future BX2 or RX2 to a Peachtree Audio deeco56 integrated amp?  I am partial towards this amp because it is a USB DAC and amp in one.  I was thinking of buying a cheap DAC (like the Audioengine D1 or a Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100) and then hook the speakers to a dedicated amp but I decided against it because of the simplicity of the setup if I were to go the Peachtree audio route.

Would this setup be ok?  I mainly listen to Jazz, Pop, and not so hard rock (no electronica for me). Also, my PC is also where I watch movies, and thus the speakers will be used to watch movies as well.

The main reason I am partial to this setup is ease of use, particularly if I were to move my setup (like if I were to go out of town for the weekend). I don't have to worry about bringing a separate DAC and amp if I have them in one.

Thanks gurus!

Yes it is okay. Preference na lang as to which sound you would like. I think it would sound good with the BX. You might find the RX a tad bright for the Decco 65 specially at high volumes.

Thanks for the quick replies sir nelson. Do you have an idea where i can audition these speakers and/or amp? I just want to audition first instead of just relying on blind faith.

Would the rx2 be brighter than the bx2 in the setup i mentioned? I was keen on getting an rx2 as i was afraid i'd get little bass from the bx2. I dont want to add an extra sub.. Thanks!

Try Audioworld along Banawe or MLY along Kalayaan Ave. :)

I assumed that you already have the Decco. I know may distro ang Peachtree dito. I forgot lang the name of the company. And yes, best if you could audition them. What may be bright for others may be neutral to some.  ;)

I tried the RX2s yesterday. They sounded really great, with punchy bass that you'd think would only come from floorstanders. Haven't tried the BX2s though. Sulit ba yung difference sa price sa sound quality?

If you can bring out the RX2's potential, medyo malayo ang tunog nya sa BX2. Mas mahirap lang talaga hanapan ng kamatch na gamit and may tendency magboomy in some rooms.

When I was searching for a speaker upgrade to my HT.. I demo'd both the BX2 & RX2.. The setup was with a NAD Integrated amp (150w?) both were really nice and had lots of bass for a bookshelf. However the BX2 was a lot muddy for my taste while the RX2 was controlled. The BX2 for its price is really great but if you can stretch some more I would say go with the RX1..
