My ears are no longer a virgin. My first audition with Nico and Epoy. HK 2550 - B2

very very very impressed. Me and sebman went to spectra afterward to do a side by side B2/m73i test. We were very impressed with the clarity of the B2. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thank to Nico and Epoy! Nice meeting Jake (Kwela) also.

mga sirs thanks sa opinion.. done a side by side testing together with presars.. and we came home satisfied with the B2.. cant wait to take home those babies.. problem lang e.. mas mahal pa sya sa m73i if ure gonna get the stands.. hehehehe

heard the silverline series last saturday and they sound real good, even at low volume the detail is in there, a little bit pricey for me though i'm looking at getting the s2, guess I better save up then

pre.. jackpot si presars.. nung nakita ko yung ads na yun.. text ko agad sya.. then tinawagan nya agad yung nag-bebenta.. ayun reserved agad sa kanya.. hehehe swerte nya..

mga B2 users.. question ulit.. nung audition kasi kami e.. wala yung mga shop nung mga rock cds.. yung B2 ba e oks din pag rock music.. like metallica.. nirvana.. guns and roses o kaya aerosmith..

pre... swabe yan sinasabi ko sayo. Basta importente sa rock is yung clarity ng bass tsaka ng guitars (sarap niyan lalo sa acoustic). Swak din yung B2 sa vocals... napakinggan naman natin diba?

I only have the B1, maganda talaga HK(AVR 1550)-B1 combi. Pero sa akin mas maganda with Rotel 971 MK2 int. amp. Siguro dahil dedicated sa audio ang yung rotel. Hindi pa fully na break-in yung B1. Although, sa akin ay mas maganda yung B2 compared with M73i (auditioned it at Spectra), lalabas na mas mahal ang B2 kasi kailangan mo pa ng stands to fully optimize listening pleasure.

Going back though, I'm still in my maybe 20th hr of use on the B2. By no means broken in. The resolution and openness continues to improve as I use them.

Out of the box, initial impresions were that they were slightly harsh on the highs and a bit thin sounding. Admittedly, i did not expect much given the price.

Well, i continue to be pleasently surprised as they loosen up and age a bit. Bi-wired them and the separation and clarity on the mids and highs improved while maintianing coherence with the lows.
