Wow. As in, tuta, maamo?
--> your point is well taken, thank you.
Just to be sure and safe, I am not in any way saying people who use credit card financing should be shot. I am merely sharing my own thoughts/values on this practice. If on the other hand, setting up the HT by card financing will:
1--save you more money since hindi ka na manonood ng sine sa labas
2--save a marriage/get you committed to a great partner
3--make you the most satisfied and happy person you think you could be
then by all means, charge it!
--> I noticed most of the recommended
--> receivers doesn't include pioneer, why so?
I can only remember 1 Pioneer integrated amp I liked. The A400X. And I liked it since it doesn't have the characteristic Pioneer amp sound...rather bright, bass-light.
Good question though...I also often wonder why Pioneer's great success with DVD players and RPTVs did not ripple through their receiver line.
--> I'm thinking of purchasing front speakers
--> first before the receiver
Great idea. IMHO, speakers define the overall character of your set-up. The electronics you'd buy would depend on how well they'd match your chosen set of speakers. Ideally of course, you buy the best matching electronic/speaker set-up but few of us can do this in one blow.
--> what models would suit a small

Many spekers can be had at or below PhP12k. I'd shorlist the new B&W 300 series, Mission 771/772 or even the 73 or 70-series. I'd visit Upscale and hear PSB New Alpha and Acoustic Energy Aegis 100. I'd probably also check out Paradigm over at Audio Den. And of course, I'd look for Tannoy Mercury's.
Bring you favorite CDs and DVDs. And make sure to try to audition with a complete HT set-up so you are able to set a goal/target.
