Just a tad difference from the 1070 especially in the detail, soundstage and imaging dept. bass is still the same compared with the 1070. Matches well with my current system.

(shhheeeeeehhhhh!!!! can't get the point of why others always listen to reviews and hypes

Mga Sir,
Just curious lang po, hope we can make comparison between best SS CD player (lets say ROTEL 1072) and the Tube output CD player (let say JOLIDA or CAYIN) I'm sure di gaano malayo ang price differences, just to know whoever the ultimate CD player is: that can do justice by eating peanut butter for a snack instead.

Because if we already data of comparison, we will know our prefernce for our next upgrade.

Sir, the 1072 is 33k and a CAYIN or Jolida is roughly around 42k to 45k. Malayo ang price difference, imbes na peanut butter sandwich ang tanghalian mo baka maging pan de coco nalang na mabibili sa tabi-tabi.

IMHO, an A/B comparison would be best but we need to play various tracks on different categories, say disco, rock, vocals, jazz, mainstream, etc. Judgement should be based on overall performance and not just in a specific category (basically, price-point, build quality, should also be considered, diba). Mwehehehehehehehe

Part 2 ba to.. diba sir just recently they scheduled a cdp shootout and the unanimous choice was the exposure 2010?

nde lang umabot ata yung consonance ni master iceman e..

next in line would be the elite cd player..

ay ot na tayo.. pero kasali din ata yung rotel don.. kaya nga walang kaabog abog e binili ni DON ST kimpao yung 1072 e..

let us also consider that the jolida and the cayin are the "souped-up" type of CDPs...plus chaging tubes would make the sound different, like changing the jolida's stock chinese tubes to mullards or teles...let's see, who knows we may be able to borrow a unit by next week (i'm talking about the jolida or cayin)...also, please include the rotel rcd-991 in your list...the best sounding rotel CDP i've heard...and yeah, the exposure 2010...thanks!

This may be out of the topic but since this is a rotel tread baka pwede isingit to.My friend is looking for an "A" condition ROTEL RB 1070 (SILVER COLOR) to swap with his "A" condition ROTEL RB 1070 (BLACK COLOR). The reason is that it will perfectly match my friends ROTEL RCD-O2 and ROTEL RC-1070 both silver.His unit is only 7 months old and seldomly used.He's is willing to add cash.If your interested.kindly text Emerson Varona at 0920-8228113. and by the way. if you cant find any party interested to swap with your friend's unit, you may as well advise him to sell in this forum his unit and once sold, get the silver color 1070.
