suggestion lang naman...

the shoot out should be had between the Exposure 2010, an Arcam CD73 or higher model (if we can find any owners of these) and the Rotel RCD-1072.

We already heard how the 1070 fared with the Exposure 2010, which was the unanimous winner of the first CDP shootout we had. Then whoever wins among the three solid state CDPs should be pitted against your favorite tube-equipped CD Players like the Cayin, Consonance, JoLida or the Shanling.

kung rotel 1072 and arcam cd73, sa arcam ako basta hindi hdcd...wala kasing hdcd yung cd73 e $:-\$

mukhang pareho yata tayo ng pandinig ah. The Arcam sound is so pleasing to me. kahit yung CD73 pa lang OK na. What more with the CD192? or the higher end CD33 Full Metal Jacket series?

perhaps, the Wolfson Microelectronics WM8740s DAC chips are far more superior than the Burr Brown DACs...

sa ngayon Arcam at Cambridge Audio pa lang alam kong may gamit ng Wolfson DACs but I think most UK brands will follow suit because Wolfson Microelectronics is a UK company unlike the Burr Brown, which is a Texan based company now owned by Texas Instruments. Even Harman Kardon, a U.S. based company is now switching to Wolfsons DACs. baka mas maganda talaga.

Let me know when is the intended shoot out. I might be able to borrow a friend's arcam cd73 for the shootout.

Hi Bogsle, I have my RCD-02 for over 3 months now and so far I'm very much satisfied with its performace. HDCD is superb.

If not mistaken its a perfect mach for your RA-02 you can take advantage of the 12v trigger. Try to audition it first and let your self decide...you cannot go wrong with Rotel (IMHO).
