The Lion King - Remastered version - Brilliant story! still my top favorite cartoon movie!

Miss Congeniality - "funny at Starbucks scene" but my favorite part was the last speech of Sandra Bullock when she accepted her Miss Congeniality Award. Touchy but thats actually the "core" of the story.

A Lot Like Love - i like the nude scene! it reminded me of my ex-girlfriend in the car.hehehe.

Open Season - this movie reminded me of my childhood. I grew up near a forest and I knew how it's like there. Kung cityboy ka, dika ka talaga uubra sa forest.

The Village - brilliant acting by Adrian Brody.

sana long weekend ulit para more movies to watch!

Watched last long weekend...

Casino Royale

Love it more on DVD than in the movies ( i don't know why.. ).  Great action film!

Quantum of Solace

Compared to Casino Royale, this one's a so-so Bond film.

The Dead Zone

This is Stephen King at his best!  A brilliant story line.  A superb actor in Christopher Walken.  A great supporting cast - Martin Sheen, Tom Skerrit, Brooke Adams.  A great film! WOW.

Dirty Dancing

In memory of the late Patrick.  I can't remember watching this back in the 80s but I do remember the soundtrack ( who doesn't ).   Great 80s music.  Lousy movie.  The R3 version, though, features fantastic PQ and DTS sound.

Kahit Konting Pagtingin 2

Delfin ( FPJ ) and Georgia ( Sharon ) back in each other's arms.  Still same old formula but kinda entertaining. PQ is average.  It's a dvd5. But the interesting part is the 5.1 Dolby Digital sound.  Ayos din noh?

End of Days

-Maybe one of the reasons Schwarzenegger was in this because of the use of firepower to battle the evil/supernatural.   Nobody does it better than Ahh-nuld.  Storywise it sucks!  Devil to make love to a chosen girl at midnight of year 2000 to open the gates of hell? Awww...c'mon.  :-\ Lots of seat jumping suspenseful scenes.  It's more of a horrifying thriller than an action movie and I just feel that Arnold is not the guy for this type of movie. Gabriel Byrne as the devil was a good choice though.  Ahh-nuld vs. the DEVIL!   ;D

Fired Up

-2 football jocks joining a cheerleading camp to get to the girls until they soon realized that cheerleading isn't bad at all.   ;D  This is one modern sex comedy I enjoyed watching. Laugh trip!  ;)

Dragonball Evolution

My kids liked it.  I was able to sit through it.  Pwede na.  Not as bad as the reviews I've read.  The CGI effects weren't as good though.

Wayne's World

-This movie is trully a classic... still had me laughing as much as I first watched this in VHS.  The jokes weren't cliches.  They were hilarious and original only delivered perfectly by Myers.  Tia Carrere was so hot.  SCHAWING!   Laura Flynn Boyle as the dumb ex-girlfriend had some funny moronic lines too. Garth's Foxy lady dance was just funny. Toss in THE Alice Cooper which showed that he wasn't just a devilish rock star in a halloween costume, but also a nerd offstage.  Mike Myers hit it off in this movie before Austin Powers.  This movie sucks...NOT!  ;D

The International

-Gunfights were spectacular specially the one in the Guggenheim Museum other than that its a drag.  Scenes in Europe were carefully picked out in places such as Luxembourg, Italy, Berlin and NYC which I think would stand out in HD. Clive Owen's no-sleep-no-bath-look was perfect for the role.  Naomi Watts was a very good supporting actress here.  A Bourne thriller wannabee that couldn't maintain the momentum.

Echelon Conspiracy

-Made me think I was watching Eagle's Eye again.  I just found the cellphone cool.  They could've picked somebody better than Shane West to be the lead role. Toss in a very good car chase scene and some explosions to add spice to an unbelievable plot.  Worth watching once to be entertained in a rainy afternoon!  ;D

Meet Dave

-Eddie Murphy is a one liner funny guy & this movie won't disappoint you.  Dave's Bee Gees rendition and his Old Navy scene was a riot.  A cross between Innerspace and Men in Black, Dave is one laugh trip the whole family can enjoy.    ;)
