I definitely look forward to this.  Am just not sure how this will impact on the release of the movie next summer.

I don't quite understand. Is this a new story or a "reinterpretation"?

This'll probably finish up  being better than  the actual Episode 3.

I'll bet The Powerpuff Girl Movie's better than Episode 3.

Anyone seen this yet? What a strange format. 5 minutes per day. The first episode was kinda interesting, but the second one really bored me. Not much to pack in 5 minutes.

I don't really care for Tartatovsky's animation here. It's too stylized to take seriously. But I guess Lucasfilm needed someone as bombastic as he is in order to make the 5 minutes as lively as possible.

I get the feeling Lucas isn't going to include the Clone Wars at all in the third movie (perhaps the last few hours of it), so I guess fans will have to settle for what's being shown in these shorts.

I think these animated shorts are just another variation of a commercial advertising phenomenon called teaser or trailer.

it was kinda lame.

would like to watch the whole series though in one straight blow.  perhaps it's the fact that it's only 5 minutes short or that it's so hyped.

okay, fine, it's entertaining, but it's too short.

Heck, the ads for Mr. Clean are entertaining, but they do it for less money and effort.

Even in cartoon form Senator Amidala's a hottie... I've watched the past three CloneWars shorts and I think it best to watch em all in a single sitting.

It's kinda between the Episode 2 and 3.  I already watched a full 30 minutes or something of the series and it's great.

I often see the TV Clone Wars in Cartoon Network and medyo "bitin" as they're quite good.  I actually would want to have all chapters in one disc and watch them all in one sitting.  Is there any such compilation I can buy prior to the movie release?

Yes, it would be great to own Clone Wars on DVD.
Not much dialogue, plenty of lightsabre swinging action !

And after the StarWars saga wraps up, how about a live action Clone Wars movie ?

During the Disney Investors presentation, Lucasfilms also provided more information on The Bad Batch, a new animated series to be streamed on Disney Plus.

"The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone Wars. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.”
