Yes.Reruns on Thursday 11:30 PM, Friday 2:30AM & 11:00AM, Sunday 4:00PM

Drats! I missed the reruns and I'm out sunday PM!  >:(

BTW, which season does this episode belong to? I got the first 3 and the 4th is on the way. In fact, I am already crawling through the Season 3 discs but I keep on getting interrupted (istorbo talaga yung trabaho! ;D )

The musical episode was in Season 6, the season that many thought sucked (because of the lame Andrew/Warren/Jonathan trio).

Having not watched any episode of Buffy on local TV or star, I can just say huh!  ;)

I remember seeing a plug for this episode awhile ago when I'm not yet bitten by the Buffy vamp  ;D and commented, hmmm, just another wierd episode from a weird series. Vampires! Hah!

I just watch the episodes chronologically correct so that I can see the development of characters properly.

Disc 2 Season 3 is almost done! Can't wait to go home (there goes my homework!)

Crap... Star World deleted Tara's solo song, "Under Your Spell". As in completely. Not just the lesbian oral sex part. Stupid censors!

Did you also see it when they aired it on Studio 23? Did they cut anything from that telecast? But then they won't really "show" anything right? So what did they take out, was like Willow's head under her skirt or something?

I watched the Studio 23 telecast, and they did not cut anything from it, since I saw Tara's solo "Under Your Spell" song. There was nothing risque about it, just she and Willow lightly kissing in a park (pecking is more like it), that's about it--nothing they haven't done in previous episodes, which is why I'm baffled by STAR TV's bizarre censorship requirements.  ???

So what did they take out, was like Willow's head under her skirt or something?

Just like Ash said, but the end of the song had Tara lying on the bed, Willow shot at an angle where she looked like she was about to go... "there"... then Tara, seen from the waist up, begins to slowly levitate while apparently achieving "it", repeatedly singing, "you make me com-plete..."  ;D

Ok, thanks AshKetchum, thanks Mr. Hankey!

That seems to be pretty benign then. Meaning the only ones who'll get it are people who already know what it is (kids won't, for example). Oh well.

If you're not doing anything tonight, watch the episode of Buffy on StarWorld.

Despite what the trailers show, it is so NOT a dreary episode. Quite the contrary, actually.

Those are great, misleading teasers!  :)

I'm guessing that's the half-hour "presentation reel" with a fat Willow?

It's basically the same as the actual pilot, but with cast substitutions and without the main plot, just a minor subplot from it.

Oh God. This sounds like a very bad joke, but it's not:

Buffy Heading Back To The Big Screen

26 May 2009 5:10 AM, PDT

Buffy The Vampire Slayer is heading back to the big screen with a new movie based on the hit franchise.

The character, most famously played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the hit TV series, was originally introduced in the 1992 movie of the same name, starring Kristy Swanson.

The following TV show ran for seven years before coming to an end in 2003.

And now the blood-sucking series could be heading back to the big screen with a brand new vampire slayer.

Director Fran Rubel Kuzui, who directed the original film and executive produced the TV programme, owns the rights to the Buffy brand and is planning to reboot the franchise for cinemas, replacing Gellar and the rest of the cast with new actors to fight demons in a different generation.

Kuzui tells the Hollywood Reporter, "Everything has its moment. Every movie takes on a life at some point, and this seems like the moment to do this."

http://www.imdb.com/news/ni0799368/

Rebooting a franchise that barely just ended? Replacing a cast that's still very fresh in the minds of most fans?

Enough with the reboots already!

...shouldn't this be in the main movies thread?  ;D

Yeah, read this earlier and almost threw up. According to the Hollywood Reporter article, Joss Whedon is not involved in this reboot (yet), and the supporting characters will be replaced by new characters.

Buffy without the Scooby Gang? Sacrilege. And just our luck, they'll probably pick one of those bimbos from those stupid shows like The Hills to play the new Buffy, and turn it into a craptastic Twilight clone.

The article also got it wrong when they compared it to J.J. Abrams reboot of Star Trek--at least the new Star Trek had all the original characters, and decades passed before it was relaunched.

Finally able to finish my Buffy and Angel boxsets a few months back. I still like Buffy better, even after that Buffy vs the Dorks season. Favorite episode -- Once More, With Feeling. Regarding the endings, I personally like Angel's better. If you think about it, Wolfram and Hart's locket actually saved Buffy and the gang. I don't think all those newbie slayers can defeat the army of über vamps.

Missing Winifred Burkle already, Thank God for Dollhouse  ;)

If you can, try getting copies of Buffy Season 8 at your local comic book store. It's the official continuation of BtVS helmed by Whedon himself.

Yep, can't believe when I saw that Season 8 while searching Amazon. But I think it's currently released by volumes, so I'll just wait for a complete set.

OT: How about Firefly Season 2? No news from Whedon?

Yes and no. The individual monthly issues are still being produced. It's up to Season 8, issue #30 now. Older copies are really hard to find, especially issues #1 to #4 as well as anything else after that since it sells out within hours.

I don't know how regular the compilations are but those are your best bet of catching up.

The signal has stopped. And if you watched Castle, Nathan Fillion's show, recently, you'll be told to just "move on"  ;D

^ Not exactly a graphic novel, but a 3-part comic book miniseries was made a while back that detailed the events after the end of the final episode of the series and before the story of Serenity:

Thanks! At least it's still available in Amazon. Reading negative reviews though. So I guess Volume 2: Better Days is a continuation?

Para nde OT, Amazon still has some of the Buffy Season 8 early volumes. Do we usually get a complete set for comic books?

Gunn is a vampire; Wes is one of the undead, under contract with Wolfram and Hart; Spike has his own entourage; that's all I remember.

No, I think it successfully extends Whedon's ideas.
