I think the offender wasn't so much Conan as it was our favorite rottweiler Triumph, who did the rounds pooping on French Canadians and Quebec in one segment during Canada week.

Hey, maybe we should post all Conan-specific comments on the newly-revived Conan O'Brien Thread.

Speaking of, why do all ETC plugs have to have a thumpin techno background to go along with the bad copy and lame voice over?  No matter what show is being plugged, the background's techno.  I think it's even the same song

'di naman lahat ... yung blind date uses a "latin" beat complete with acoustic guitar. their station ID naman uses a big band style of music (lots of trumpets.)... i disagree with the VO's tho... ok naman sya. masama lang talaga yung copy. they should get better copywriters.  ;)

ah.. found what Triumph said:

""So you're French and Canadian, yes? So you're obnoxious and dull," the puppet said to one passerby. "You're in North America, learn the language," he bellowed at another. "

Thing is.. Canada is about MULTICULTURALISM (versus US's Melting Pot). Other people's culture are welcome and embraced. And what triumph said is like the ultimate No no in Canadian Society.

Jimmy Fallon didn't disappoint.  The Seinfeld impression was great, but doing the Conan opening bit was flat out hysterical.

Vincent Curatola -- Johnny Sac from The Sopranos -- was there as an added guest.  His real-life mannerisms aren't really that different from this mob character, prompting Conan to say, "You scare me."

Wonder who the added guests will be tomorrow.  Can't be an entire show all on Feng Shui.

He hasn't reached the "P" countries yet.  But that would be surreal - them receiveing a letter from a country they haven't gag-insulted yet.  :) Wonder what he's got lined up for the Philippines.

This week:

Monday 5/31: Jeff Goldblum, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, Sarah McLachlan (R)
Tuesday 6/1: Kristen Davis, Omar Epps, the Holmes Brothers (R)
Wednesday 6/2: Elijah Wood, Rachel Dratch, B.J. Novack (R)
Thursday 6/3: Kate Winslet, Jamie-Lynn DiScala, the Living End (R)
Friday 6/4: Ethan Hawke, Neil Young, Omid, Djalili (R)

I guess now the May sweeps are over since everybody's doing reruns. And it's June already hehe

Hey gotta catch Meadow Soprano on the show. And Rachel Dratch too I think she and Conan make perfect "If They Mated..." parents.

Shows this week:

Monday 6/14: Minnie Driver, Chris Klein, Usher (R)
Tuesday 6/15: Jackie Chan, Tim Russert, Franz Ferdinand
Wednesday 6/16: Steven Wright, Patti Scialfa
Thursday 6/17: Tom Hanks, Sam Moore
Friday 6/18: Gisele Bundchen, Jesse James, Auf Der Mar

I hope Steven Wright does stand-up.  For all his comic brilliance this guy does a lousy panel.  I see Mrs. Springsteen been doing the late night rounds.  She's on Letterman as well.  Wonder what's she up to.

This week:

Monday 6/21: The Rock, Colin Quinn, the Sleepy Jackson (R 4/2/04)
Tuesday 6/22: Ashley Judd, Alanis Morissette
Wednesday 6/23: James Garner, Busy Philipps, air guitar champion
Thursday 6/24: Marlon Wayans, Nicole Richie, Heart
Friday 6/25: Michael Moore, Patton Oswalt, Ozomatli

Heart!!!  I didn't know they're still alive.  Wanna see how Mrs. Cameron Crowe has been holding up.

That air guitar champion is something to see I bet.

Michael Moore's been doing the rounds.  He's on the day Farenheit 9/11 opens.

A friend texted me that David Duchovny will put on an appearance this week. Does anybody know if it's a replay or a new one?

Thanks!

This week:

Monday 7/12: Tim Robbins, Larry King, Lambchop (R)
Tuesday 7/13: Caroline Rhea, Burning Bridges
Wednesday 7/14: Queen Latifah, Ali G, the Roots
Thursday 7/15: TBA
Friday 7/16: Randy Constan

I wish it were Lambchop the sock puppet who's guesting.  Then she and Triumph can slug it out.

Ali G! Maybe he and Conan will talk about something they have in common: being Class Day speakers at Harvard.
