Which CABLE TV service do you subscribe to?
Since when?
How do you Rate the Service? Scale from 1 to 5 (5 is the highest) any comments.
Monthly Bill? Is it Reasonble?

Comments = madalas ang interruptions lalo na pag-umuulan, konti channel.
Rate = P500/mo.
Reasonable = pwede na din compare sa ibang Rates.

any comments. Serves our purposes and meets our requirements - we like the Star Channels
Monthly Bill? P520
Is it Reasonble? When I started my subscription, I paid 6 months in advance at P370/month plus 1 month free. They don't have that anymore - its P520/month and the only incentives are: half month free for 6 months advance; 1 month free for one year advance. So I'm just paying monthly.

Which reminds me, I still haven't received my bill, baka maputulan ako dito :-/

Since = 2001
Service Rating = 4.5
Comments = more channel choices (Star especially), and most importantly, Star Sports for F1 coverage!
Rate = bundled with cable internet
Reasonable = more reasonable than Sky

Comments: More channels especially ESPN and Star Sports for NBA games, wowow for the latest movies, uncut and in widescreen version. of course there is hbo, cinemax, hallmark, axn, bs1(more nba games), and so much more!

Rate: 380/mo.

since - cant remember
service - cant find anything good to watch
Rates - getting expensive

Its the only available cable company in our village so no choice but to stay with it.

Since November 2001 after Destiny failed in their promise that they will have cable internet available in my area
So far so good maraming movie channel but i miss Star channels espcially the sports and National Geographic sana magkabati na ang Sky and Star in the future

For almost a year na. Before it was Skycable...pero nalaman namin na mas mura ang destiny so we transferred...pero ngayon nagtaas na rin ang destiny!!

baka lipat na lang ulit...sa paranaque cable naman!!

ok naman, no complains. we rarely watch TV na now except for AXN and Studio23 coz little daughter gets to hog the TV with her Barney videos.

Ive been a Home Cable subscriber for about 3 years and recently added (4 days pa lang) Global Cable.
Global TV is worth the addt'l expense (P350/month) because it has the best kept secret
in the world, the WOWOW channel, a Japanese channel that has an excellent movie line-up (no
cuts), some anime (in Japanese nga lang, w/o subtitles), and some live sports coverage. Yung movie selection nya is worth the subscription alone. First night pa lang, they showed two Johnny Depp films back-to-back, Crybaby (John Waters) and Dead Man (dir. by Jim Jarmusch) which was followed by Final Destination. Nung Saturday am, they showed Dune (David Lynch version) and just tonight, American Pie and
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Letterboxed pa, Japanese subtitles tho. Global has HBO, Star Sports, Star World, ESPN, Viva Cinema and Hollywood Channel (a Taiwan-based channel that sometimes air Taiwanese softpornish lingerie ads past midnight!) but no Star Movies, Star Mandarin and UNTV (!)

SkyCable.

Kahit wala ng ESPN at Star Sports SkyCable pa rin. Do I have a choice? None. since Sky bought Cebu Cable they have become a virtual monopoly in Cebu. Increase na naman next month despite pulling out ESPN and StarSports.

yung mga tv series like dawson's creek, friends, sex & the city etc, meron silang japanese at english versions. same thing with their movies. sometimes you get to watch it in japanese pero laging may english version.

Monday to Friday 7:30 PM and 11 PM. The 7:30 show is a re-run of the previous night's 11 PM show.

All are re-runs, last night's episode was the one where Joey goes steady with Ursula and patches back up with Phoebe.

Before ... naka Sky kami for two years. I've switch to Home now simula ng nagkaroon sa lugar namin ... mura pa kasi sya noon compared to sky .... pero ngayon :-/ wala pang Star Movies and Star TV

Our cable TV is free.( well, yung monthly lang )
Why? Because the ones who connected it are the same people who connect them legally.
They install it for a fee of PhP3,000.
Just for your info: they have the Star Channels( ESPN, Star world, Movies ) pero thry dont have Wowow( Boy, id like to have that channel )
Rating? Ill give them a 4, just for having the Star channels.

I'm a subscriber of SKY. Kaya lang, they raised their monthly fee just recently.

I immediately wanted to switch but we still have no Home in our vicinity. Sayang, discounted pa naman kami sana...

Destiny...hmmm siguro they can add Wowow sa lineup nila pero Sky never will. Ive heard a lot about Wowow maganda nga daw, there's the real movie entertainment and the entertainment for the inner temples of your body &mind

Sky is very much guarded by the MTRCB, yung channels from Spain,Germany at France eh lagi nacut off pag may lewd scene sa movie or show, tipong off the air signal. Also E! is affected by this system.They had this biographical documentary on a famous radio psychologist who had some sort of pornographic past, pero I really was interested sa life story niya but it came to the part that the show featured what was supposed to be nude and topless pictures of their subject, pero ayun pinutol agad ng Sky/MTRCB for more than a minute kahit may nagsasalita na, you get to miss the whole point of the show. That's the big problem if your cable provider's the most widely subscribed to nationwide. Cable service sa province is much better

Yeah, on Doctor Laura. It was also been edited on Destiny.

But admittingly, not only here. before in US we are subscribe to a country cable someting provider until recently last late 2000 as this was bought by TCI Cable. Upon the buying from TCI, they made some changes like removing Playboy Channel and Spice. I guess the blame would be on the management of this cable providers
