Opened God of Cookery and King of Comedy DVDs yesterday from koreandvds.com. Here are the discs:

There are no inserts but I dunno if they are pirated or not. $:-\$

nirvblakr, can you take a pic of the back cover art.. usually there is a certificate license printed for legit HK releases.. HK releases seldom include any extra insert or coupon. as we already know, koreandvds is notorious for selling unlicensed titles. issues were raised by international collectors with titles such as Naked Lunch, Rules of the Game, Notorius, Spartacus, Bambi, Cinderella, Pinocchio and other Disney and Criterion sold in their store. However... they also sell legit items for $3.00 a piece.. so you just have to check throroughly for a legit bargain..

btw, some sellers in the marketplace are selling some of these items so be careful.. .

tried purchasing a couple of discs yesterday and the card I always use (MasterCard) got declined! It's the same message I got when my Visa cards were declined before...

Does this mean pati MasterCard from "Pinas di na rin pwede???

has anyone purchased from koreandvds recently? my MasterCard keeps getting declined!

I checked with my card company and it's the same reason my Visa kept getting declined before... patay kung ganun! I won't be able tp buy dvds from koreandvds na!! Arggghhhh!!! :'(

one more thing... koreandvds shipped my replacement dvds over a month ago for the lost order I made last November. It was sent via standard shipping but this is the 6th week wala pa rin... mukhang pati yung replacement dvds nawala na rin... @$#^%^&(<! Las Pinas PO!

I was able to use my citibank visa on my order 2 weeks ago. Don't use the "verified by visa" option. This is the new verification system of visa and philippine issued visa cards are not yet included. There's another option for regular visa processing. Hope this helps.

just got a package today, declared value is $126 and 2790g. fortunately, kahit may declared value, nde nakita ng customs. am i just lucky or may limit ang mga hinuhuli ng customs?

i'm planning to order again kaya lang i-limit ko na rin sana to less than $100. accdg to koreandvds, if my order is $110 and i used a $11 mileage point, declared value would be $99. do you think it'll have a declared value in the box?

Mas mura pa rin sa dvdheaven only $12.30...problem is they only accept paypal, bank transfer and verified by visa. Their dvds are cheaper and they still have stocks of limited edition dvds like the Hulk LE. Medyo mataas nga lang ang shipping cost sa kanila.

andami ngang mura... have you tried ordering from them? how's the ems charge? wala rin bang declared value if less than $100 just like koreandvds?

I wanted to, but can't coz they only accept paypal, verified by visa (new visa verification system and phil. issued visa is not yet included) and bank transfer. Shipping cost is expensive than koreandvds. They offer 4 types of delivery methods, EMS premium, EMS regular, parcel post (air) and small packet (air).

Sir hemisphere1234, di ba $17.05 lang ang EMS sa koreandvds? You can still add another regular dvd and EMS cost is still the same or 2 of ninja scroll LE will cost $21.66 for EMS. Kung dalawa kayong sabay bibili lalabas na $10 lang ang EMS if you share it.

btw, my lost package last december was repalaced by koreandvds last January but it seems nawala na pati yung replacement package...

I e-mailed them about it again and they said that this is the first time they are hearing about a lost replacement package! Damn POs!
