Probably one of the best packaging made for a DVD in R1 US.

Not only it comes in a coffin shape box but the Jack Head is a Lamp! and the ebst part of it.. limited only to 20,000 made

Its so sad that both online and offline Hot Topic Store does not carry anymore the said edition.

On some message boards that posted this dvd package, gosh Im drooling on how huge it.

I guess I have to settle with the SE edition...Question for those who have the SE, does it have a slipcase? And does it look like the one in sir hemi's pic (under the jack lamp)? Para kasing may foil yung cover. Thanks for your replies.

No Slipcase. It has an insert though.

It looks exactly like the one in redge's post. Yung parang gold foil is part of the design of the cover ng SE.

IM looking forward to get it from Hottopic (Not Online, but the Retail Store). Im gonna post a pic once I obtain a copy. Its pretty hard on my end, especially knowing that the original selling price for this was $29 and now on ebay and other internet stores the selling price skyrocketed to an average $40 to $70.

Guesstimate time would be 2-3weeks according to the store manager of Hot Topic.

Some info I got was this was an exclusive produced packaging done by Neca Toys for Hottopic.

The pic shown above was the other side of the coffin that showcasing the see through cover.

Below is another picture of the coffin if you switch it to cover the see through side, the oposite would look like this

sir hemi, are you referring to the SE or the Box set? Saw a couple of sites that still have the SE. The SE will be on my next order list...

oh sorry for the confusion. im referring to the boxset. the SE is a very good release. with all the extra features and DTS, this would be a worthwhile treasure in the years to come.

Seph1018, should you intend to buy the DVD, Just a suggestion normally whenever an upcoming film of the same producer/director/team is released in theatres the related DVD always(but not all) gets a pricedrop or related "discount sale" with it. In this case, I see that there is a possibility that it might happen with the SE of Nightmare Before Christmas DVD.

would just like to share a picture of my father in law's Nightmare Before Christmas LD Box Set. It includes 3LDs and a hardbound book about the movie. Sayang lang it wasnt maintained well. The DVD is mine.

its something i got from japan for 200 yen. you drop 200 yen into a machine (like a bubble gum machine) and out comes that coffin in a plastic ball. inside it is a small key chain. ill try to post pics of it when i have time.

I picked it up last Saturday at a Hot Topic retail store.

Unfortunately they couldnt find The Crow Headstone, but if ever they would find one, they would let me know

What is amazing about this two DVD Sets are basically they are retailing at a same price of $29.99

The salesperson there was suprised how huge the Jack Skelington Coffin is and ask me how I learned about it. Well I told them its out of stock on their internet site therefore I tried my luck to order at their store.

Much as I would like to do it, I got some harsh reality expereince with Philippines' Customs during time, I sent things to my bro there.

Kagabi ko lang napansin na di pala anamorphic ang transfer nito, when I watched the Frankenweenie and Vincent films of Tim Burton. I like Vincent, it's very dark typical of Burton.
