new Aurum F300
http://www.cyberroach.com/blog/2008/11/ficion_audio_at_redmond_town_c.html

Thanks sir... I am very surprised that Ficion allowed the writer to mention that their speakers are made by Aurum.  For the record these are not Aurum speakers but are clearly designed and made by Aurum Cantus. As of now they are still working on perfecting their V10 so i dont see any Aurum badged speaker of this type in 2009.  However, i am 100% that Aurum will eventually venture to 2 pc. floor standers that are time aligned.

Aurum OEM for more than 20 speaker brands - of which i swore to Kevin (GM or Aurum) not to disclose. I've heard their V10 prototype with a tweeter at the back for ambient highs and it sounded very very nice.

hmm... did you see the price for the bookshelf? hehehe :P

Floorstanders are not always better than bookshelf.  Size of the listening room, type of music listened to as well as the design of the speaker all comes into play :)

Its quite ample to support a small - mid size floor stander.  Remember that speakers will sound better if given space from the walls so as to control the low frequency.  We have also suggested a proper placement for you.  As for the surrounds, the polk speakers OWM3 is another option from the F5000R since they are small and can be pointed in almost all direction. We also carry Polk so we can just package everything together and install the system for you as well.

China made Aurum - as the joke goes... God made the world and everything else is made in China. I cant mention the brands but you know how many of them are made in China.  If you are looking for a speaker under 100K per pair most likely it is made in some Asian country.  That does not mean that they are inferior, just means that the speaker company is sourcing from the lowest cost source.  During the Guangzhou audio fair i was talking to a designer of a $100,000+ speaker and he said the cabinet is made in China, he then added at this time it would be silly for them to have it made else where since China gives the best quality at the best price. As for quality he said China is the 3rd country to send a man outer-space so technologically and quality wise we know that they are better or at least at par with the best in the world.

When you visited we auditioned Aurum versus a few North American branded ones... as for the sound - you be the judge  ;)  Ask your dad to visit - we are nice people naman hahaha.  Close his eyes to the badge and let his ears decide. Or get a bose :)

I brought home the F series hometheater set @ Php 18,400.00.(F6600, Center and Surrounds) as i made a deposit weeks before to avail of the 20% discount. This babies are really Bang for the buck, Sulit na sulit and value for the money. I smiled even more when i began to unpack the flloorstanders and finding out it comes with gold spikes. This means i saved around at least Php 1,500.00 more. ;D

When i placed the speakers to where my previous speakers where located in my bedroom, i realiized that pang dedicated  hometheater na ang size niya. ;D ;D So i packed the speakers again and started on my next project a hometheater room so i can unveil them on their rightful place. ;D

Thanks sir... enjoy your speakers.  They will sound better and better as the caps burn-in and the woofers loosen up.

"Its sound was so realistic, detailed, and coherent that, with every recording I tried, the music grabbed me and forced me to focus on it. I found it very difficult to use the V2Ms for background listening—they kept slapping me in the face, demanding that I pay attention. "
