Yes sir, try to isolate firts by removing all the connections then power it on. If its turns off again bring it to our office at 749 Banaue ave. corner Sct. Alcaraz St. Q. C. near Ling Nam restaurant to have it check. Theirs something wrong in it thats why it triggers it protection mode.

you wouldnt realize what MA speakers are really capable of until you have paired them with the proper gears and ancilliaries.
if you already have, you would be an MA fan for a very looooong time.

I totally agree. I've heard a good number of speaks (or I'd like to think that I have), and based on that experience I realized that speakers almost always get better as you go up the range. Because of that, I typically get a rough expectation based on the selling price of gear. I've also heard older MAs (the RS1 was also quite good), but the RX2 sounded like a speaker from a higher price point. It is a very flexible speaker (we heard it playing different genres of music). It may have matched the gear and the room well, which in turn raised my bar for sub-40k speakers.

Sorry for late reply. If your rxv1800 is 110v and dont have a voltage selector, there's no way that we can convert it to 220v. Because the main transformer is incorporated with the impedance matching transformer.

I'm deciding whether to buy it here in the US or in the phil na lang. Pauwi na rin kasi ako this july or aug.

Masprefer ko locally bumili para walang problema sa warranties. Minsan din, di iniingatan kapag via courrier ang gears. Pagdating dito at may damage, wala ka nang magawa....
