Hi.

Has anyone bought the Region 3 dvd set of Six Feet Under Season 2?

I just called Astro.  They have it in their stores already, though I haven't been to one to check.

Sayang.  I already bought the Region 1 set a few weeks ago.

My 1st season being region 3 and 2nd season region 1, I think I prefer the packaging of region 3.  Each disc has its own case.  The fold-out case for the five discs of season 2 region 1 is nice, but I have to unfold the whole case to read what episode is in which disc.

Anyway, I think I like the 1st season better.  It's more consistent in tone.  Season 2, in my humble opinion, is the more emotional and moving, but I somehow feel it's gotten too clever.....too much is going on.  Sort of like, from Tolstoy going to.....Bronte.

LOL, you haven't watched Season 3 yet...it gets more complex, but overall I still love this show.

Well, S2 is my favorite coz Brenda's nympho-whoring ways was just totally psycho  8)

I don't remember much about S3 except for the Lisa storyline. And S4? Only the last ep is somehow retained in my mind coz of ze blood! ze blood! from Jeff Yagher's head H!ITG from V! Snerk-snerk. Oh yeah, Claire's thing with [Mena Suvari] was pretty cool, too. And Peter Facinelli? Hot, hot!

Still, Nate is *so* my HBO-TV-boyfriend. No matter how f-ed up he gets.  :-*

(Sorry, I'm reading recaps at TWOP. Must have rubbed off somewhat)

Last night's episode was probably the worst. episode. ever. (Episode 4.5, "That's My Dog") It was disturbing and downright uncomfortable to watch, and it made me detest David all the more for being such a gullible, helpless wuss--what happened to all that character development in the past 4 years? At least Nate fights back, even though he gets reduced to a bloody pulp in the process...

Hi.

Slightly off-topic.  Does anyone know if the region 3 dvd of Season 4 is available in the Philippines?

Thanks.

At last--the final season of Six Feet Under starts this Tuesday, October 10 at 10pm on HBO.

Probably took them long enough to butcher edit the episodes as usual...  :P
