has anyone bought this player. i just saw it at Makro sold @ php 1,799.00. please post for reivews.

This player will play both DVD-/+ Discs.  That's as far as I've tested this unit. 
I bought this unit to play DVD+ Discs and it did.  Just be carefull when using the remote.
coz it's a bit on the soft side, when you press hard enough it could break in two!
