Tama experiment what best suite your taste and room wala problem design naman talaga for 8 & 4 ohm speaker .

guys, good luck on the speaker shootout this saturday at akyatbundok's tower...

i'll try to pass by even for a few minutes pero it seems alanganin eh...i need to visit the house of our CEO disposing the Martin Logans and the VTL amps eh, i'll be taking pictures and checking the exact models (and also the condition, naka-tago lang kasi)...medyo sa south area kaya alanganin, pero try ko pa rin...hope you'll all enjoy the shootout!

Agree the sonic sensation was truly amazing 3 different brands each has a character of sound you'll love, like flavors of Ice cream all are sweet and creamy.. so If your in the shoes of the guys hunting for speaker i'm sure you'll be astonish with the variants..

first: thank you very much to Architectural Audio for letting us borrow the speakers, thanks also to jetok and matt for bringing their speakers

all i can say is that these are 3 very different speakers, each with his own strengths and weaknesses. a side by side audition such as what happened will only highlight how different they can be. my advice to the prospective buyer is to listen to them with the combination of source and amp that he will be pairing them with in order to make the right choice

Dali concept 6

Heard this speaker at Arch Audio with fellow member sir Jetok couple of week back. my initial impression was very good and nice but still have doubt.

considering the nice amp and wires that were used hmmm

tsaka our mind was set on its big brother IKON 6

. kaya sabi ko kay jetok we must hear this sa session..

Detail.... almost everybody love it and when were talking about this feature Concept 6 come to my mind

what first strike me when it was hook up was this aspect the highs. compared to Wharf 9.6, Mission M34 and even MS908 this is the most detailed of the bunch kaya parang warm sounding na yun 4 brands to me

considering they used a soft dome for tweeter

.. according to Sir Jetok the frequency response is 25.000hz so maybe kaya ganun sya which i believe good for those jazzy music.

Imaging and focus is spot on., i read that Dali uses wide dispersion design with the Concept a feel of a larger sweet spot. notice the mids are incredible in several piece like Jacinta Moon River but a little lean and sibilant in few singer like Linda Rondstand, dynamic ability and trancient response is enjoyable listening to different music from big bands, solo vocals, intrumental and even rock.

Having heard of affordable speaker before, i'm amazed the evolution of affordable speaker's level of sound, performance and even craftmanship have trully surprised even the season and veterans in audio. manufacturer have come up with a surprisingly good model boost with nice looks. but then who i'm i to say that but IMHO iba na affordable now!

Now looking for Detail floorstander to match your warm amp.. ito subukan mo sir!
