ang harman receivers, may individual xover settings sa fronts, sa rears, sa center at sa sub.
assuming na ang 80Hz na setting mo is for the fronts, then only 80Hz and higher and papasok sa front speakers. there is a good chance that they will sound less boomy. on the other hand, less bass din ang effect.
since this is for music, ang recommendation namin is to play around with speaker placement first. find the best spot na least boomy. kung posible, add some tube traps. the effect of this can be astonishing
pag ito kasi ang ginawa mo, you get the lowest cleanest bass your speakers can handle. if you cut off at 80hz, less boomy nga pero it wont give you deep bass. gawin mo lang ito as a last resort.

If you set the crossover to 80 but you turn off the sub will the crossover take effect?
My goal is to make the floorstander less boomy for classical/jazz music.
My music preference is both rock/pop and classical/jazz depends on my mood kasi.
