Princess Hours will be shown in ABS-CBN 2 in the near future, according to Cristy Fermin, from an interview.

finished  ;D  still loved it and highly recommended, but dont expect too much with the story. everything happens as expected. its just very sad that our favorite character yul had to go through much sacrifices until the end, a somewhat tragic ending for me. nice music and great use of teddy bears to summarize every episode  ;)

....

and My Name is Kim Sam Soon - recommended   :) :) :)

There is something in here that really stuck in my head or is it in my heart that I don't know.
I felt something I can not describe that made my whole Sunday just thinking or do nothing.
I felt somehow what possibly the guy was feeling.  :-[   drama ko....

my wyf loved princess hours. but there were scenes that kinda dragged the pace.

one scene that really struck me was when the queen mother was watching a tv series and she was really enjoying herself. she was watching "kim sam soon". :)

so i watched it (with a bad english subtitle).
now i know why even an empress would watch it.  ;D
no wonder it was the highest rated series in korea last year.

ngaun ko lang napapanood ang tagalog dubbed.
by using pinoy slang and gayspeak sa script, sobrang okey ang lines & delivery! :D

These 2 Korean TV series are good and funny. I highly recommend these 2.

Full House - previously shown in GMA 7
My Girl - previously shown in ABS-CBN 2

sad movie

we rented this movie thinking it was a love actually korean remake. well, its kind of but all of its stories had sad endings. the title actually spoils it for you. fortunately for us, its title when we rented it was a season for love. i have no complains for this movie except for the title. i mean a 5-year old could've thought of that. anyhow, its now one of my wife's fave korean movie cause this one made her cry the most  ;D  which previously i think was the classic. btw, it has an all-star cast, at least for those familiar to korean films

 ;)

finished watching Kim Sam Soon. its not your common korean series. the lead actress is not the attractive type (physically... well you know what i mean). there were many bathroom scenes... reminds me of beavis, i need TP for my b*ngh0le. and what i like about it is that there was no evil villain. recommended indeed  ;)

I'm currently starting to watch Emperor of the Sea (tv-series), just borrowed the dvd set.

I'm also watching the show currently showing in KBS channel during the weekend (Sat. & Sunday starts around 8:30pm)
Does anyone know the English title for that?  The show is set around medieval Korea vs China(Tang Dynasty).  Or if there's already a DVD set out there. Tnx

he was cool. reminds me a lot of my tutor friend, guy fighter whom every girl likes, the simple chic, the usual korean comedy/drama. but i like this one better than MTF because it was simply more entertaining and had funnier scenes. its fight sequences/wire-fu are better. first korean movie i've seen that deals with the sensitive AIDS/HIV issue. even had a gogo yubari look-alike that's cute as a doll. i wonder why gorgeous koreans are most of the time single in their movies. are they everywhere?  ;D

just found out the lead actress here, Jeong Da-Bin, committed suicide last feb. if you've watched the series Attic Cat and My 19yo Sister-in-law, then you've probably seen her. one actor said "Celebrities are under a lot of stress because of their uncertain future". instant fame really has its price  :(

RIP Jeong Da-Bin

mostly funny and had some emotional moments. hated the unbelievable events, their world is so small. loved the cameo at the end. hilarious!  ;D

Just saw The Host on DVD.

If you want a creature film with a touch of comedy, this one's definitely a must-see.

My Girl was also shown on ABS-CBN 2 last year. It was also "re-played" in the morning, last year.

I also loved the cameo at the end. ;D

Hmm....Park Si Yeon is Miss Korea 2000? Kim Sa-Rang (Sexy Teacher/Who Slept With Her, A Love To Kill) is also Miss Korea 2000. ;D

its a good thing i recognized the girl at the end even though i haven't seen her series yet. btw, My Girl was shown at ABS, while the other was at GMA. i wonder if fans knew about it

thanks for clarifying that up. searched again and it was indeed Kim Sa-Rang (so she was the Sexy Teacher  ::)). but i still dont know what's that "Miss Korea" 2000 beauty pageant under Park Si-Yeon

200 pounds beauty
i was expecting more from this since it's the most talked about korean film lately, but its a disappointment, especially its message on inner beauty and confidence  ???  nice soundtrack though, and a good verison of blondie's maria. i wonder if it was really the actress' voice

Eyes of Dawn

Perfect. It's actually the best korean drama ever made. Watch it! But be careful on some scenes...

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...and Spring (or whatever)

Great flick! I love it. It was really beautiful.

finally watched OldBoy. im so angry at myself for knowing that Hye-jeong Kang (who played Mido, and the crazy but cute Yeo-Il in Dongmakgol) is credited as Oh Dae-su's daughter in the movie  >:(  still had some doubts while watching it though, especially after seeing their intimate scene. i think Mido's identity is obvious without it. well, that's what i get for waiting 4 years to watch a very popular movie...

Ha, ha, ha. That took away every feeling that the movie is supposed to invoke from you.

REgarding Korean actresses' suicide, I remember one other korean actress who committed suicide because of supposedly being so engrossed with her role in one of her movies. I can't remember the name (their names are difficult to remember) but I can still remember the face.

I wonder if any of you have seen

Guns & Talks (movie, 2001)

If you haven't, it's time to check it out.  This is one of the funniest South Korean movies I've seen.  And the soundtrack was just as great.
