May 6, 2005 - Another sign that Pixar and Disney may be moving closer to extending their partnership: a listen to Pixar's first quarter conference call for investors reveals that Pixar CEO Steve Jobs had nothing but nice words to say about the studio who not long ago he put down. Jobs stated, "I've been getting to know (Robert Iger, Disney's CEO-to-be) a little bit, and he seems like a terrific guy. If Disney wants to strike a new deal with us, we'll see how things go." Later this year, Pixar is expected to announce their next three films slated for summers 2007, 2008, and 2009. Meanwhile, Pixar's chief financial officer Simon Bax announced that a DVD re-release of Toy Story 2 will likely follow September's Toy Story 10th Anniversary and could be out by the end of the year.
