Warner has kindly sent over some artwork for the Robert Zemeckis directed The Polar Express, which features the voice of Tom Hanks. Warner hasn't officially announced this title yet I'm afraid, although we're expecting it to arrive in seperate widescreen and full screen releases, during the latter half of 2005. We'll bring you the final date, and the official announcement, just as soon as it arrives. Make sure you stay tuned for that. For now though, here's our first look at the official region one package artwork:

wow.. i have seen the OST packaging of this one and my hopes are high that an equal treatment would be given to the DVD release.

Warner has officially announced the Robert Zemeckis directed The Polar Express, which features the voice of Tom Hanks. The double-disc release will be available to own from the 22nd November this year, and should retail at around $29.95. The film itself will be presented in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. English, French and Spanish subtitles, will also be provided. Extras will include a never before seen Smokey and Steamer song, a You Look Familiar: The Many "Polar Faces" of Tom Hanks featurette, A Genuine Ticket to Ride featurette, a True Inspirations: An Author's Adventure feature (profiling Chris Van Allsberg), and a Believe: Josh Groban performs at the Greek Theatre feature. Completing the package will be a feature on the making of the song "Believe", a Polar Express Challenge, a Meet the Snow Angels: The Moviemakers feature, a THQ PC game demo with two playable levels, and DVD-ROM features.

baby, where have you read the snow globe news? i've seen the OST LE with a real bell from tower records makati. great packaging overall priced at P1.5k or P1.8k.
