Upgraded the tubes of the Duntonic DU-2i amp to from a pair of stock chinese 12AU7 to RCA 12AU7 Black Long Plates, in combo with RCA 5751 black plates and stock Electro Harmonix EL84....smoother sounding mid and hi, warm and controlled bass...

susunod na yong el84....still scouting for a good deal for el84 matched quad...pero wala yung rca ko sa cleartops mo...pahiram.  para mo ng awa.... :'(

alam mo bang I had a pair of 12u7 teles, di naging maganda result when paired with RCA 5751 and EHel84, nagtunog SS....kaya ako napunta sa RCA 12au7...binenta ko ng P2k for 1 pair yung teles....i dont know, baka yung el84 ang weakest link with the teles when i tube-rolled then...

Ganun ba? hmmm have you try other EL84 brand? EH kasi minsan harsh in some amp.

Updating ....

Tube System
Duntonic caps upgraded to Auricap, tubes to Amperex 12AX7, Sylvania 12AU7
Mission M74 all internal wiring replaced/upgraded to Ecosse CS2.3

HT System
Replaced the stock jumper of Mission M72 and M7C2 to Ecosse CS2.3.
Added Ixos 1051 Silver Interconnect Coax digital cable with WBT RCA plugs (for concert/musical dvds)
