Got a set of 2-way specially made BS speakers from anthony that i connected on series with my other front speakers also specially made by them. The crossover of the BS was carefully designed to give extra bass but not to outshine the need for clarity of the mids and highs that i also want to hear at the same time. The BS is 6ohms and connecting them on series with my other 8 ohm fronts gives a total of 14 ohms and within the capability of my receiver.
Every weekend is always full of audio experience to me as similar to most members here, weekend is always the time to experiment and try ideas i gather out of my readings in this forum. Last weekend was no exemption - Learning from the Diy Master how to make that 6ohms BS into 8 ohms to conform with the minimum reqmnts of my receiver, i finally weaned said BS speakers from my fronts and test the quality of its independence.
True to anthony's promise the BS does not compromise the quality of the mids, while it renders a very smooth but heavy bass that can be mistaken to be coming from a sub. This is only a BS type of speaker and considering
its price -- i think other exotic brands will pale in comparison.
