Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Steamboy for 26th July 2005. Katsuhiro Otomo’s first feature-length directorial project since 1988’s breakthrough film Akira is this state-of-the-art action adventure anime about a young, brave boy who must save London from destruction.

Available in standard ($26.96 SRP) and collector's edition ($49.95 SRP) releases both feature the same basic DVD presentation with the original full-length director's cut of the main feature...

Bought two edition, One is for keepsake, the other for viewing pleasure

It retails around $50 ... I got it at a low price at Suncoast (which comes with an exclusive Limited Edition DVD)
