Hi fellow members, what is your most prized DVD in your collection or what DVD will you NEVER sell or part with.  ;D
My most prized DVDs would have to be:


CON-AIR (R1) - this is the first DVD in my collection bought 1997 (sealed pa up to now  ;D)
FIGHT CLUB (2-DISC) LE (1st Release) - got this from DVDexpress.com when it first came out  :)

For me probably it's the Alien Qua Head & I Robot Head....I almost declared bankrupt after getting these two hehe  ;)

My prized DVD so far is the one that Director Marilou Diaz Abaya signed during the Nov. 20/04 Grand EB with the film's screenplay book as present from her...Make your guess..

Friends: from season 1 to 8 (so far) - Why? Strictly for sentimental reasons. My wife and I love watching them all together

Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness) boxset

LOTR: FOTR, TT, ROTK Platinum Extended Editions
LOTR: FOTR giftset - because of the bookend statues...hehehehehe ;D

The Matrix Ultimate Region 1 10-Disc with Neo bust... why? I just love the cabinet-type with those 10 disc trays...

Unless the 20-disc James Bond collection that comes on that special packaging... what's that look like??? 5 round interconnected plates???

The DVD I would most likely not to trade is:

The Lost World: Jurassic Park - don't remember when I got this, but this was my first DVD... I bought before I even had the chance to buy a DVD player...  ;D By the way, it' still sealed.

The Scream Trilogy (Korean) - I just got this now. This is my favorite movie.

and dagdag ko lang... though hindi siya DVD:

i have the special edition of the Star Wars trilogy on VHS and its still in very good condition. :D

KILL BILL VOL1 &2 Japanese Version, they have alot of extras that come with the dvd's and it's freaking hard to find in the US.

it's my Fighter in the Wind Limited Edition (di ba obvious? just look at my signature!) why? aside from the fact that it's the only LE that i own right now...  it's also the only one i actually coveted. hahaha!  na-lab at pers sayt ako sa dvd na to...  ;D  ;D  i drooled when i saw the packaging! i loved the movie! the action scenes were so real! i enjoyed the special features!  sa madaling sabi... SULIT!  ;D

My first dvd that I bought in Mega Mixx now close, FIGHT CLUB 2 disc-set. Like the film and the packaging really kick ass!  8)

Followed by ST. ELMO'S FIRE my first taste of dvd coming from the balikbayan box and last but not the least DEAD RINGERS Criterion Collection. OOP na kasi and got it only for a few bucks from a friend who share my hobby and vices in collecting movies on dvds.  ;D :D ;)

Congrats.

I saw a copy (or maybe similar only) last May in Japan. Didn't realize this is a sought after edition. Hopefully by November its still there. Most R2 DVDs that are OOP are available in some small local stores but really need to look for it yourself.
