sir, your copy is from BestBuy, right? is it also from Tokyo Shock, same with Amazon? of course, Amazon customer service can't confirm the packaging, and i cant seem to find any other sites that say its steelbook

btw, the Versus from DeepDiscount is by Media Blasters, but have the same details with the one released by Tokyo Shock  :-\

Hi

I do not know about the legal situation in the Philippines, but in most European countries and the USA downloading movies from usenet for personal use is not illegal.
So this link might be usefull for people with usenet acces:

Leo.

L:Change The World - 3 Disc Korean Limited Edition
(Released in DVD July, 2008)

So far the best out set for this movie... with English Subs

OT: if this is true, then this spinoff shouldn't really be included in the boxset

Director named for “Death Note” spin off “L”

Hideo Nakata has been named as the director to helm "L," a spin off from the huge hit Japanese horror "Death Note," Nippon Television Network announced. Nakata, whose credits include "The Ring 2" and the upcoming "Kaidan" and "The Ring 3," will return to Japan after three years in Hollywood. Nakata said he wanted to make more movies in his home country and that he was taken with the performance of Kenichi Matsuyama in the "Death Note" films and wanted to work with the actor again.

Matsuyama plays the sweets-loving "genius" detective who matches wits and wills with a power-besotted college student able to kill anyone he pleases simply by writing the person's name in a mysterious notebook. "L" will focus on the detective's story before the events of the two "Death Note" pics, which grossed a total of ¥8 billion ($67 million) in Japan alone last year. The shoots will begin in August, and Warner Japan will release the movie in the first half of 2008.

The movie was ok but I'm disappointed that it didn't really have any connection to the Death Note... so I just got myself the HK 2-Disc set. Pics soon  ;)

Personally, I like the movie. Kaya I feel bad not buying the LE when it was cheap and still affordable. Good twist, a good directorial debut by Jay Chou.
