i was about to ask if the HOFD has DTS tracks but i remembered WB doesnt have R3 releases with DTS pala...

what are the features of the R3 HOFD on sale right now?  worth buying ba?

I have HOFD HK version. Its 2 disk DTS-ES. The better to hear the whirling daggers surrounding you  ;D.

Last I saw it dropped to HK$90.

I collect DTS-ES titles kasi so for me, this is worth it.

The local version is DD5.1, single disk.

oh, thanks for the info, not so good buy pala yung local version... (i cant recall if my HOFD R3 LE Korean ver has DTS as well)

Guys,

Got me several titles over the weekend and to my delight...HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS HAS A DTS MANDARIN SOUNDTRACK included (I dont know if its DTS 5.1 or DTS-ES 6.1 since I only have a 5.1 capable AVR) together with a dolby 5.1 version. Moreover, EMPIRE OF THE SUN has 2 discs included! My only regret was getting an EXORCIST:the beginning at 425(formerly 595) at PODIUM sale which is now 299! Still waiting for BAtman begins DE and Dominion ???

yup got myself HOFD dts. isa na nga lang sa astro sm makati. good buy talaga. got also several snapcase dvds like u.s. marshalls,specialist,emipire of the sun,heaven and earth and a lot more. can somebody confirm when the exact date of this sale would end?  ;D ;D

Its in an AMARAY type dual case similar to the likes of CONSTANTINE 2 disc without inserts. Hope this helps.

im not exactly the authority here but i was told that it ends by 31-Oct.  but who knows it may get extended if the response is above WB's expectations...

I bought it in Astrovision in Megamall last friday. Yes, sabi ko last copy! But I was suprised to see that they were still a lot of copies of HOFD in Odyssey in the first floor. But better still, I bought The Big Red One there.  ;D

HOFD - dts and dd both mandarin soundtracks, NO ENGLISH dubbed
CTHD - first locally released version has dd 5.1 english, dd 5.1 mandarin(got one myself), superbit and latest versions dont have the english dubbed versions( reason why I opted to get the former).

Empire of the Sun - I dont know kung newer version ito, but I know it was previously a snapper.
