Further Details
Universal has announced a massive fifteen-disc Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection which brings together fourteen of Hitchcock's classic films, plus an exclusive bonus disc. The films included are Saboteur, Shadow of a Doubth, Rope, Rear Window, The Trouble With Harry, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds, Marnie, Torn Curtain, Topaz, Frenzy and Family Plot. Each disc will be identical to those already on the market separately. Therefore, the only exclusive extra material will be included on the bonus disc - and details have yet to be released on that!

.... we've learned that all 14 films in Universal's Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection (due on 10/4), will be digitally remastered. The set will be packaged in velvet slip-case, featuring a 36-page collectible book. It will also contain an exclusive bonus disc that contains "showcasing Hitchcock's films, career and legacy."

nag-increase na rin ang price nito sa amazon, it's now posted at US$89.99 ???......buti nalang i was able to order this along w/ king kong ce & batman begins de at their old prices pa 8)

Got this for $78.99 from amazon, after the $5 discount if you get it with the Hitchcock Presents set.

naku, i only have the previously released Vertigo. viewed Rear Window and yes, there film shows dirt and some signs of wear. i guess same transfer lang. but for the price, the set is worth it.

got my copy already & it's sure is HUGE, this is presently the biggest box set in my collection in terms of dimension & weight :D......i immediately tested & scanned Vertigo, it's now anamorphic & has truly been digitally remastered, ang linaw talaga ng PQ....... 8)

your honor, priority kasi ito sa buying list ko after i was able to sell my old Vertigo & Psycho DVDs ;)......am sure mapag-iipunan mo rin ito, yakang-yaka yan 8)
