We almost have the same setup. We have the same AVR  and WH-2 center and surround speakers but my front is a diamond 9.1. I cant really tell if they are matched coz Im a newbie but they sound very well. So far Im satisfied w/ my setup and planning to buy a diamond 9cs or carnival 5 for my fronts and make my wh-2 center as surround back also.

About 4-8 ohm speakers:

How come they are 4-8 ohm & have no steady impedance?

Does this have any effect on their SQ or quality of construction?

TIA  :)

Impedance vary with frequency. It may be that the speaker reaches 4 Ohms minimum.

need help guys, just wondering kung ok ba kunin ko ung wh2 center and surrounds to match with my wharfs 9.1? (sabi dun sa shop pinagtanungan ko ok lang daw) i've also read and some said mas ok daw ang 9cs for timber matching, ganun ba kalaki yung difference if i use the wh2 center? tamang tama kse sana ang size nya, wala akong paglalagyan ng 9cs, and since di naman ako audiophile will i not know the difference? but if its really like breaking the cardinal rule in HT setup then i would have to find a way to fit 9cs, thanks in advance :)
