JD Labs EL-34 STC PP Tube Power Amp (as seen on the picture);

have 2 others, diatone power amp (in punk_kids custody) and a Sansui AUD-907X decade (under the bed)

pre-amp

JD Labs Tube rectified pre-amp with sylvannia 5AR4 (mullard), 12au7 rca cleartops tube compliments (reserve tube 12au7's: telefunken and mullard)

phono stage

JD Labs 3 tube phono stage with mullard 12ax7 tubes.

speakers:

Otto sx-5fd, 3 way electrostatic (ribbon) speaker;

diamond 8 center (syo pala to sir vhong? kay... hmm... limot ko na handle nya ah, basta taga cavite sya, ko nakuha yan, more than 1 year na din yan sa akin)

Jerix,

Sadly my set-up is focused more on the audio aspect thereof, so the positioning of the front speakers are more dependent on what sounds best when connected to the tube amp and now how it fairs in HT (i really wanted to have 2 sets of speakers, 1 for HT the other for audio, heck, i laready have the extras sets of speakers for it,however, and as you can see, my space wont permit me).

Luckily naman the effect in the balance is not very prevalent, but i do sometimes compensate by increasing the volume on the right channel as it is located farther, or by shifting my sweetspot. But it is never a perfect nor lasting solution. My HT set-up needs a lot of improving, and it will not be in the near future pa.

That is why, I caution anyone from incorporating both your audio and HT set-up as your bound to make sacrifices.

maliit lang space ko kaya d pwedeng mag session, sama ka na lang in 1 of the many sessions sa bundok surely mapakinggan mo part of my system, just like last sat.

btw, yong rack pagawa lang yan from the province.

basta ang alam ko, it has been the center piece of my audio set-up since the time i got it more than a year ago replacing my luxman L-430.

maybe when ill have a second system sya uli apple of the eye ko. yon nga lang am more of a tube addict than a SS.
