Disney has also announced a new special edition of The Emperer's New Groove which features the voices of David Spade, John Goodman and Eartha Kitt. The disc will be available to own from the 18th October, and should be priced at around $29.99. The film will be presented in 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. As well as collectible packaging, the set will include an audio commentary from director Mark Dindal and producer Randy Fulmer, a deleted scene (Destruction of Pacha's Village), a behind the scenes feature on the character voices and computer imagery, and Sting's Making the Music video, featuring the Academy Award nominated song "My Funny Friend and Me". Completing the package will be a Rascal Flatts’ music video featuring the song “Walk The Llama Llama” where viewers can learn to do the “Walk the Llama Llama” dance, a set top game with the voice talents of Kronk (Patrick Warburton) and Yzma (Eartha Kitt), a playable game demo and a sneak peek at Disney’s upcoming movie “Kronk’s New Groove”.

Artwork has come in for October 18th's The Emperor's New Groove re-release, which confirms a slipcover and "The New Groove Edition" subtitle, but does not specify that this is a 2-disc set.

With all four leading characters (and a squirrel) appearing, the newly-issued disc artwork for The Emperor's New Groove: New Groove Edition would seem to quiet any doubts that this October 18th re-release will surprisingly be a single-disc affair with the primary purpose of promoting forthcoming sequel Kronk's New Groove.

Oh man! Was definitely going to buy this if it was a 2 disc edition. Missed out on the Ultimate Ed. I guess I'll settle for the R3 on sale.  Not much difference from the 1st single disc release.

Di ba sir hemi may lumabas na 2 Disc edition nito? Yung "The Ultimate Groove" 2 Disc CE if I'm not mistaken. Was referring to that edition. Did it come in a slipcase sir? Ganda non e.

no slipcase.. but it has DTS..  kept all my Disney CE and UE's. better releases IMO.

Most definitely. I think the Ultimate Groove Ed. is still available in some online stores. I'll try my luck there I guess. Salamat sir hemi. Great collection of Disney DVDs you have by the way (Tarzan CE, etc....WOW! ).
