Have you noticed that in store, there is a sudden surge of demand for titles that were shown on cable?

The applicable title for me was Night at the Roxbury. At that time eh wala pang R3 at walang available sa Amazon.

Now may VCD at R3 DVD na.

After watching it in cable, a lot of people will probably buy BAND OF BROTHERS on DVD when it's out.

A Man called Hero is the last one I saw from cable via Star Movies Mandarin and bought the DVD after three weeks

Sex and the City - Kakaasar kasi yung mga putol sa HBO Asia.

The Larry Sanders Show - I remembered this as really funny when HBO Asia aired it years ago. It's still really good, but I didn't enjoy it as much anymore. I'm thinking it's probably because when it was aired, I was a bigger fan of Talk Shows than I am now. I can't sit through leno or Dave or Conan anymore. They just bore me.

Ah, oo daming putol sa HBO. But even if the DVD don't have that many features it's still worth buying it! BTW, HBO is going to air the new season this Tuesday 10 PM.

Ace Ventura 1 & 2- Laughed my ass off that I wanted to buy myself a copy for repetitive viewing.

Jesus Christ Superstar 2000. I first saw it in Star World on Good Friday of 2001. When I saw a VHS on bargain sale, I snapped it up at once. And after repeated viewing, I knew I had to get the DVD.

After watching Cayote Ugly again on cable (saw in na before on DVD) eh parang gusto ko nang bumili ng DVD.

Fortunately, may ire-release na Director's Cut sometime end of this year so wait na lang ako para sulit.

I saw Masterminds (Patrick Stewart) on cable and sometime ago, I saw the DVD title in Astro. Now that I am ready to buy it, its nowhere to be found (or the arrangement of the title in the Astro branch sucks!

Saw Legal Eagles on cable (HBO i think).

Pero, its really a good film about school shootings, probably the best of its kind, minus the violence.

It is a TV movie, but it has so much more to offer than your average "movie of the week" type. Great performance from its lead, Ben Foster.
