i want to start a budget friendly tube set

mga sirs. can you help me where can i get at least a second hand tube amp for a beginer like me

You may also try to look for AMX's budget amp which is in a Php17K price range.

thanks mga sirs! i had a chance to find a scott tube amp and a sansui au 1000 tube amp. sirs would you help me decide what to buy, i'l pair it with a RA labs speaker. once again mga sirs thanks for the big help.

I agree. Got this AMX EL 84 last year. Never thought of upgrading this amp including  speakers.

Audition using your source and speakers as much as possible. Most will allow home auditions. It is your best protection. Never buy components you've never heard.

My advise is audition, audition, audition :) Always bring your favorite CD  ;D so you wont have a buyer's remose

thanks mga sirs for your good advice. will you tell me where to auditon amps, and the technics how to buy a new tube amp. thus AMX has a good quality sound. once again thanks for your very good advice and more power to all of you!

If you plan to buy a local amp try Mang Rod, He wound his own trannies  ;D ;D
You can also visit Audio Amplified if your in the vicinity to listen to Cayin amps
at 2/F Madison Square Bldg, Libis QC. Infront of Shopwise besides HSBC
