Further Details
Universal has today officially announced The Mummy Collector's Set which includes The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King. As far as we know, each disc will be identical to those already available. No exclusive extra material will be included as far as we are aware. Anyway, if you don't already own the discs - you'll be able to own this new collection from the 29th November this year. The retail price should be set at around $26.98 or thereabouts.

I think it's the same as Korean and Australian release.  This is cheapter lang btw. :)  sans with dts din. :)

I got the R4 release. Yeah it's similar to the Korean release. Yep baby, the R1 it could be similar as well but let's hope it's different?  :P

Yeah, I didnt really like the Scorpion King, but for the price 3 movies for $20 in a box set, its a steal indeed.

actual pix of the set: (pardon the resolution  :-\)

from the outside, looks like the packaging that korea does (ie: hero or kung fu hustle):



but the inside...the outer flap is not magnetized, and the whole case serves as a sort of box pala.... the plastic case holding the cds are inside the box, taped together at the sides lang so kinda hassle sya to get from one movie to the next coz you have to remove the whole thing before you get to the disc:  :P

it is a really good buy for about $20. compared to korean which is more expensive.  But the korean release have dts tracks available.  You can also settle for the japan release with dts din but it's also OOP.

japan released the superbit editions of mummy series.  8)

unfortunately japan dvds are so expensive  :'(  i think the korean set is still great buy even though of its high price because of the dts track on all movies  8)

I agree. I got mine a few months ago and this was my complaint too.
