Further Details
Universal has announces two editions of Cinderella Man which stars Russell Crowe, Renée Zellweger and Paul Giamatti. Both the single-disc, and double-disc editions will be available to own from the 6th December this year. The single-disc should retail at around $29.98, whereas the two-disc collector's edition should retail at around $44.98. Both discs will carry 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers, along with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. The only other thing we can confirm right now, is the addition of a collectible book for the more expensive release.

First up, Universal has announced Cinderella Man for release on 12/6. There will be a regular edition (SRP $29.98) as well as a more elaborate limited collector's edition ($44.98). Both will include anamorphic widescreen video and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, along with audio commentary by director Ron Howard, additional commentary by writers Akiva Goldsman and Cliff Hollingsworth, deleted scenes with optional commentary by Ron Howard, 5 featurettes (including The Fight Card: Casting Cinderella Man, The Man, The Movie, The Legend: A Filmmaking Journey, For the Record: A History in Boxing, Ringside Seats and Jim Braddock: The Friends & Family Behind the Legend) and more. The collector's edition will include all of the above, along with a bonus disc and a collectible book. The bonus disc will offer additional deleted scenes with optional commentary by Ron Howard, 6 more behind-the-scenes featurettes (including Pre-Fight Preparations, Lights, Camera, Action: The Fight From Every Angle, The Sound of the Bell, Braddock vs. Baer Fight Footage, Russell Crowe's Personal Journey: Becoming Jim Braddock and The Human Face of the Depression), and a photo montage.
