High level speaker terminal of subwoofer
« on: Aug 11, 2005 at 11:05 AM »
hi guys,

I own a Klipsch KSW-10 subwoofer. It has high speaker terminals at the back which I dunno its use. My sub is connected to the receiver thru its LFE. Would there be any benefit in your the "High Speaker Terminals"? And how shall I make the connections? Any enlightenment is appreciated.

If your receiver does not have LFE or low level output, you can use the HLI (High Level Input) to connect the main/stereo speaker channel output of the receiver to the HLI of the subwoofer. Then this signal will be processed by the amplifier of the sub to produce sound.

Thanks Philander for the help. It's High level speaker terminal pala not High speaker terminal, hehe. Anyway, my humble receiver has a sub out so I will  not be needing it.
