Batman Begins Region 3 2-disc edition will be out slightly earlier than the Region 1 version. According to Warner sources, pricing may be similar to Constantine so keep your fingers crossed.

No DTS. Warner hasn't been doing DTS for several years due to an ongoing dispute in the US.

Reading the serial # on the DVD case's spine might help...but I think Warner won't make the same mistake like on the Constantine DE.

I think so too. There should be an announcement next week re Batman Begins and the status of the R3 Deluxe Edition. There's also news about the Batman Anthology 8-disc box set.

It's great that Warner is releasing quality and inexpensive DVDs. This release will be highly anticipated by a lot of people (like the Constantine DE) . And with plans to also release the other Batman Anthology SEs, Warner will definitely love this year. More power to Warner and sir firewired for always keeping us updated.

I think they can price batman Begins as well as each of the Batman Anthology at the "Constantine" price of 499 with each a 2 disc edition. Naumpisahan na nila. So potential buyers would expect no less.

They would make a killing with that.

Now only if Magnavision will follow suit. But that's another story

I notice that the 499 introductory priced 2 disc dvd's have poor keep case and poor dvd coverart print and it's shrinkwrap is different from those of 695 two disc release which have better coverart print and keepcase. Warner Philippines is trying to make the prices lower so they have their other titles locally packed. Only the dvd's are import. I appreciate the low price but sometimes it's look sucks. That's why they have this fiasco with Constantine DE. I'm a big fan Warner releases way back 6 years ago pa. From it's snap case and digipak 2 disc release, Limited editions like Full Metal Jacket. The condition is of the dvd packaging is getting worst. But Warner have the best priced and the best packaging on the local market to date. It just MHO.

Batman Begins confirmed for 18 October. For the first time, Philippines will be using the same master as the Korean release.

Also, there will be a DE version and it will come with the 72 page comicbook.

Great!! Sana lumabas kagad yung DE. Sa Constantine kasi nauna yung SE. A day or two after na lumabas yung DE.

Release date is on 18 October. Php499 for the widescreen version and Php550 for the Deluxe Edition with slipcase and the 72 page comicbook. As mentioned previously, Warner Philippines is using the Korean master instead of the HK master for this release.
