I haven't viewed any of my DVDs with the Audio Commentary on anyway, so it's not such a big deal for me. The 2-disc DVD is still worth it at P499/P550.

Yup, a good deal. Especially since there will undoubtedly be SE, CE, Ultimate or Whatevertheycallit Editions coming out regularly, all the way to the release of the as-yet-untitled film sequel in 2008.

went to Astroplus sa Greenhills!
they showed me this paper with info on the Batman Begins DVD na R3! P550 nga and will include the comicbook na 72 page (DE). Release date is October 14! Yee-HAW!

I'm definitely getting this for myself.

But is the DE comparable to the R3 in HK? Panalo ba ang quality kahit mura?..Because I'm getting one for a friend abroad.

I believe so. Yung Constantine nga very worth it for me for a 550 price tag.

The first image is the slipcase and the one beside it seems to be the comicbook

Yup, Warner is allowing variant slipcases apparently across territories. Our DE has the same slipcase as the R2 release but the contents mirror the Korean version.

The R1 Batman Anthology set will be released on the same day as the R1 Batman Begins. Any news if there'll be a R3 Batman Anthology set? And if there is, will it mirror the R1 version, how much will it cost, and when will it be released here? Thanks!

The R3 Batman Anthology will be released last week of October here in the Philippines. No word yet on final pricing but expect the Php2,500++ range.

Received some important updates from Warner:

Only the Widescreen Edition will be released on Thursday. Seems like the DE shipment got delayed in Taiwan due to a holiday (of all things). It should hit our shores by the 12th, but it won't make it through customs by the 13th. Delivery to stores is 14th at the earliest but Monday, the 17th, is probably more realistic.
Warner Philippines increased their DE allocation significantly so there shouldn't be any shortage this time.

We've waited a long time for this, what's a few days more...
