Yes you read the subject right. Apparently David Hasselhoff has been working for quite some time to get Knight Rider: The Movie off the ground and from the article I just read it seems to be moving.

They may do a Jack Lord a'la Hawaii-Five-O.

That is, use a diffuser in the camera's lens to hide the wrinkles / age.

They've done this diffusion trick to other stars as well who don't photograph too well on close up!

Try to remember the scenes where:

close ups get a little blurry!

How about converting Michael Knights' face to CGI?

That would be cool since nowaday most films are into that technology

I'm actually looking forward to it (for some strange reason). I think I can take the campyness and novelty of it.

I believe I was in grade 4 when the show came out and I pretty much missed it when it stopped airing. I just hope they don't make it Baywatch with a talking car.

Makes you wonder if K.I.T.T. will still be a Trans-am. If Michael Knight will be older and will mentor a new batch of "crusaders", what role will Devin Miles play? I wonder if Bonnie or April will still be there?

im not really a car expert, but doesn't the car remind you of lightning mcqueen (of cars)?

from KR online but they say its a fake but awesome photoshop work IMO, it even has the Weinstein Co logo which has the movie rights

The new Knight Rider KITT car made its public debut Wednesday, a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR. NBC's upcoming Knight Rider TV movie is set to air in February with Justin Bruening in the lead role and Will Arnett as the new voice of KITT.

--should this be moved to the Television section then?
