Hahaha ang haba nun... The Aikido buffer is used as the output section of the DEQ2496. Before that purely digital ang connections, S/PDIF, AES/EBU, etc. The Aikido handles all the analog and the HB for amplification.

Yes analog side na direct from the AK DAC, that's where the analog starts.

Dapat sana mag hiface ako pero ganun din naman structure nun usb to s/pdif nun muse with possible tweakings in the future pero as of now new level naman na ang sq so I'm content na.

Nope, I implemented the Aikido approach and put it in a separate case (the one with wood). I neither have the heart nor the balls to obliterate the casing of my DEQ2496, just some of the electronics to make it even better.

Jojo still achieved the lampizator mods. The only difference is he made the output tubed section external.

Napapaisip tuloy ako kung makikisakay na din ako pagkuha mo brad, DACs are like clamps - can't get enough of them...

So far I'm very much satisfied with the current setup, it's just simply fantastic. My tube power amps are officially gathering dust and just taking up space so their off to the rehearsal studio. That way somebody else will shoulder the Meralco bills.

Brader deist and I were thinking of getting "another" DAC.

I was playing around with ir transmission experiments and saw some ir receivers at Deeco so I bought 4 (the ones on the upper right)... and to my dismay... 4 out of 4 are kaput!

tawa na lang ako para di ma-stress...

Switching DACs in a digital/computer setup is like switching to different cd players...if ever naman sa January pa dating ng items kasi sa SG ko ipapa-ship and bitbit ko na pagbalik namin pinas after new year, game brader?

Sakto yan kung sa January pa, may munting security electronics project ako in the works kaya busy busyhan hehehe... Maganda naman feedback ng designs nun manufacturer ng board sa diyAudio so we'll never go wrong. I'll get the single DAC chip version pero if budget permits, and if you go the dual version, why not. Let's discuss the particulars via PM pag mag order ka na.

Yan ok hand carry para iwas traffic sa ports at iwas na din sa mga crocodiles.
