Yahooooo.... tunay na baby na ang hahawakan mo ngayon, Brader J!!!!
Hi sir Jojo,Just a question: Have you tried building an external isolation transformer for coaxial s/pdif connections?Good s/pdif sources should have pulse transformers to provide galvanic isolation. However I've been seeing more and more cheap components in the market (from PC sound boards to DVD players) without an integrated isolation transformer for their coaxial outs. This can causes audio issues and (in some cases) component failure.I'm not sure if high bandwidth / quick response trannies are readily available locally, but it'd be great to have a product like this around. Thanks much!
Fr. Jim.....kailangan ni Jojo ng kopya ng mga classical materials mo for the Baby.
Wow ....baby inspired pala ang mga amps mo ngayon.Malamang parang hinehele ka pag nakinig sa combo na yan.Seriously...your personal impression please on the BabyGT combo please Kailangan mo si Mozart, Handel at si Vivaldi.
Naku po.... baka yung tatay ang maunang makatulog nyan!!!!!
Good Morning Sir!Baby inspired? It may sound like a coincidence but when I think about it, The Baby and the Baby G were both conceived late November 2009! It was actually an evolution, the Baby G was to be a stand alone performer meant to go head to head with other amps many times it's price. It was designed with only 3 things ringing from the mouth of the very 1st owner... SQ, Durability (24/7 operation), and Price. The guy wanted it to sound tubey in the simplest sense but it really made it hard especially with the Price as a common criteria. Nonetheless, the initial project was a success, and so it goes. As for the GT combo, the most distinctive character I noticed was the quality of the mids and highs, certainly anyone would expect that from a hybrid but it truly differs in it's delivery. I listened for hours and hours but never got tired, and yet it wasn't that laid back too. The naughtiest among the character of the Baby T was probably the bass response, far out! Coffee cheers!
Ang galing mo talaga magtimpla. Biro mo....gumawa si JojoD sa JDLabs (parang 47labs) noong Nov 2009 at nag bunga ng Baby at BabyG. Dumami ang bumili kaya nag clone nang marami (parang Gain Clone ah) Anyway.....talking hydrid.....so the next project model is Baby GT....diba!!!! Parang pang racing ah....galing talaga!!!!
Sir,I once toyed with this idea and build it around a ferrite bobbin for that extra headroom on bandwidth, unfortunately, I wasn't successful with the actual build/experiment, the bobbin was so fragile it virtually disintegrates to dust with my bare hands.I believe Edrel and Tony are in the forefront of trannies and should have valuable info on these, they may have some pretty wild ideas on other ways for galvanic isolation of digital signals.
