gaming would be great i guess. for now, gamit ko muna siya for videos/movies. and one thing i noticed eh nakakahilo din manood lalo na pag mabilis yung scenes.

It's a pre-owned Dream Vision DL500 DLP projector and a 70"X70" cheap pull down screen you find on photo/electronics shop.

need some long cables, so had to DIYed S-video and VGA cable using leftover CAT5 cable.

here's a VGA male with 8 meters of 2x CAT5 cable

S-video with 10M CAT5 cable connected to projector and a DIYed female VGA outlet.

Nice clean setup sir!

I noticed you have your center speaker on top of your TV. Diba siya muffle-sounding when you use the projector for video?

yan nga ang problema ko. kaya,for the moment, naka 2.1 lang ako pag gamit ko yung projector. i'm thinking of relocating the center speaker sa ceiling but this needs approval from my wife

Ganyan din kasi issue ko. Alanganin kasi magpwesto ng center speaker sa harap ng TV kapag naka-retract yung screen at TV lang ang gamit.

I'm considering getting another center, para isa sa floor, isa sa ceiling, para it would appear na sa gitna manggagaling yung sound. Siyempre gastos na naman hehe

looks like it will work, that is the sound coming from the middle of the screen. but please check the impedance accepted by your center Amp. the total impedance of the two center speakers you plan to connect should match the amp's impedance.

From what I gathered, connecting speakers in series will raise impedance to the total impedance of both speakers (e.g., 6 + 6 = 12 ohms). In such a case, mas madadalian pa nga yung receiver/amp to drive what it perceives to be 12 ohms given the higher impedance. Didn't research yet how it would affect sound quality, though.

Tsaka di pa ako nakakabili ng UPS hirap na pag nagka-brownout babay lamp :'(

i would connect it the same way

. pag parallel kasi e lalabas nyan 3 ohms nalang - mababa na yata ito for most AV amps.

got rid of my china-made power strip and replaced it with surplus PC power outlet. cheap and neat way to organize power cords/plugs of av gear.

, nabili ko ito sa SOS riverbanks Marikina. P290 each. meron pa dun mga 6 pcs pero assorted brands na. Dati marami nito sa HMR pioneer, kaya lang nung nagpunta ko ay ubos na. you can also check out SOS outlets near you.

Gustung gusto ko na nga e. When I'm in the office on Saturdays, browse ko yung catalog namin ng Farnell at RS. Hanap ako ng enclosure, transformers, etc. Hindi ko pa kaya yung mga amps, GC, etc. I'm totally clueless

Pro, gusto ko sana first project ko, passive attenuator. Mukha kasi yun yung pinaka-basic
