also been eyeing this title in the Marketplace for some time. Since keating alreay got his from clownboy, decided to go ahead & get Jaimsitecom's copy. About time I upgraded from my old VCD.

Whoa, this was available on vcd, jas? I'm sure it will suffer terribly on pan and scan.

Don't think it was released locally in VCD. Bought mine from HMV Hong Kong & PQ does suffer a lot. The Criterion DVD was the first time I watched Ran in DVD format & although I only have a regular 21" TV, the transfer & colors looks really great.
