also been eyeing this title in the Marketplace for some time. Since keating alreay got his from clownboy, decided to go ahead & get Jaimsitecom's copy. About time I upgraded from my old VCD. :)

Whoa, this was available on vcd, jas? I'm sure it will suffer terribly on pan and scan.

Don't think it was released locally in VCD. Bought mine from HMV Hong Kong & PQ does suffer a lot. The Criterion DVD was the first time I watched Ran in DVD format & although I only have a regular 21" TV, the transfer & colors looks really great. :)
