I mean may masisira ba? Or is it just a matter of, kung maganda ang output sa pandinig mo?

Tnx

Definitely there will be an issue unless your MC cart is high-output MC (like Dynavector 10X5)...you will need either a Step-Up Transformer, Head Amp or external phono stage w/ MM/MC input.

Actually, I hear acceptable output for both. By the way, I am using a vintage amp with phono. But I hear a difference in details when I set it from one type to another.

My question is, possible bang may masira either sa TT or sa amp???

Thanks ulit. ;)

sir ano ba yong MC cart mo :)

I mean hindi ko sure kung MM or MC to.

@ndotcom

Tama kayo sir, yung amp ay may selector for MM or MC.

usually chief kung may mm/mc yung int amp at tumunog yung cart mo, malamang mc high or mm. i also have an int amp na may selector for mm/mc but hindi tumutunog yung glider ko sa mc output nya. yung ibang preamp variable input loading, but for most of the phono input of int amps, fixed input impedence. yung cart loading impedence is important para mamaximize mo yung cart mo. imho, cart loading has a significant effect sa sound repro.

Depende sa amp mo. Kung mm capable lang int amp mo, then use mm cart. Yung mga shure at dj cart, mm yon. Kung may selector for mc, then u can use an mc high cart. Yung gmit ko na glider at ortofon and yung kay jay na benz micro, lahat low output kya were using a phono stage for mc low, like yung ear834 at m1vinyl! Pwede ding Stepup transformer gamitin for mc cart.

I see, so malamang nga MM to hehe!

ANyway, i noticed mas detailed ang output pag sa MC nakalagay. Hindi kaya sira ang amp ko? ;D

Follow-up question mga gurus.

How important is the GROUND for these players??? I mean is it really required for you to connect it to the Ground terminal in the amp for example??? Is there any disadvantage if you just left it dangling?

Thanks!

Hi Sir Nicadraus,

I have a Technics SL-3300 na nalubog sa baha, ask ko lang kung may pag asa pa ba or if worth it pa ba ipa-restore (baka kasi yung price ng pagpa-parestore eh pambili na ng bago or mas maganda na 2nd hand).
Thanks!
