Clean and Simple 3

Both of the units' main diecast frame and tonearm sections are finished in 1200 MK2 original silver shade. Tonearm bridges have been replaced on both units because the pivot screws have corroded badly and stuck. So the bridges had to be cut with dremmel just to take out the arms. Strobe, 33/45 and pitch indicator LEDs were replaced with super bright white as well as converted Pop-up lamps. RCA cables and connectors replaced with internal grounding and tonearms rebuilt and calibrated to factory setting. The rubber base, tonearm mount plate were also repainted to flat black. Pitch controls calibrated and applied with new aluminum pitch decal ornaments. Platter refaced (3-step) and repainted, Pitch control knobs repainted because the original color have faded already. Switch assembly (Switch, start/stop, 33/45 buttons) and PCBs cleaned. Pivot bearings and motor spindle lubricated.

Walter's Bright Yellow.

This is the first of six pairs for Walter Zamora.

Main diecast frame and tonearm sections are finished in glossy bright yellow. Tonearm assembly and mount are also repainted to yellow as well as the platters and pitch knobs. Strobe, 33/45 and pitch indicator LEDs were replaced with super bright yellow as well as converted Pop-up lamps fitted with super bright white LEDs. RCA cables and connectors replaced with internal grounding and tonearms rebuilt and calibrated to factory setting. Both units were also installed with new tonearm clips. The rubber base were repainted to flat black. Pitch controls calibrated and applied with new silver aluminum pitch decal ornaments. Platter refaced (3-step) and repainted, Pitch control knobs repainted because the original color have faded already. Switch assembly (Switch, start/stop, 33/45 buttons) and PCBs cleaned. Pivot bearings and motor spindle lubricated.

Electric Blue

The main diecast frame, tonearm sections, pitch knob and headshell are finished in Electric Blue glossy polyurethane automotive paint. Rubber base also repainted to flat black as well as tonearm plate mount and platter, which was also re-faced (3-step). All LEDs of the strobe, 33/45 and pitch indicator are installed with super bright blue. The stock pop-up lamp was converted and fitted with super bright blue LED as well. RCA and cables replaced with heavy duty and high grade type with internal grounding. Tonearm assembly rebuilt, pivot bearings lubricated and calibrated, spindle lubricated, pitch control calibrated, and internal circuitry cleaned. Applied black pitch decal ornament. Power supply converted from 110v to 220v. Lastly, intsalled under platter halo with power supply that turns on together with the unit.

Walter Zamora's Fire Red 1200s

This is actually the first pair of 1200s that I painted in fire red which is very close to Ferrari's signature color. Usual Works1200 finished with automotive polyurethane paint on the main diecast frame, tonearms sections and platter. All LEDs replaced with new red ones except for the converted pop-up lamps which were fitted with super bright white. New silver aluminum pitch decals applied, tonearms calibrated as well as pitch controls. RCA cables and connectors replaced. Motor spindle lubricated and tonearm pivot bearing as well.

1200 to 1210

Repainted from silver to original SL1210 color (very dark charcoal grey) using automotive polyurethane paint on the main diecast frame, and tonearm section. Rubber base, pitch knob, tonearm mounting plate are painted in flat black. Replaced pitch control with new one. RCA cables and connectors replaced with internal grounding. All LEDS are fitted with super bright white including converted pop-up lamp. Platter repainted and re-faced. Tonearm calibrated to factory setting. All PCBs cleaned and motor spindle lubricated. Applied new limited edition aluminum pitch decal (for MK6 models).

Congrats on the new 1200 sir jerry. The MK3D is the best variant of 1200. A no nonsense 1200. :)

saan pwedeng makabili ng acrylic cover for technics TT? same lang ba ng size ang mga models ng technics? or magkakaiba din depende sa model?
Dust covers of the 1200 will fit on all models. But MK3D/M3D, MK5, MK5G/M5G, and MK6 models don't have hinges mount. The mount plates at the back also needs to be modified or replaced. Also the dust cover hinges are sold separately from the cover itself.

PM me, I can help you find one.

The Grey Market's 1210

Another full refurbishment job on these decks for The Grey Market shop. Repainted in original 1210 color (dark charcoal grey). Replaced all LEDs to original color - Super bright red for strobe, red for 33/45 rpm and original green for pitch indicator. Pop-up lamp was converted to super bright white LED. Tonearm sections also painted, rebuilt and calibrated. Tonearm pivot bearings lubricated. Platters scraped, repainted and re-faced (3-step). RCA & cables replaced with internal ground, all PCBs cleaned and motor spindles lubricated. Applied new aluminum pitch decals (black with gold markings for MK6 model).

Super Gloss 1200

Full refurbishment job. Repainted the main diecast frame & tonearm sections to super gloss metallic black (MK5G/M5G color) with polyurethane automotive paint. Repainted rubber base, tonearm mount & platter with flat black polyurethane paint. Platter was also re-faced (3-step). Strobe, 33/45 and pitch indicator were installed with super bright white LEDs including the converted pop-up lamp. Replaced RCA cables and connectors with internal ground. Tonearm pivot bearings and motor spindle lubricated. Tonearm calibrated, pitch control calibrated and all PCBs cleaned. Applied original 1210 aluminum pitch decal, black with white markings. This unit came with a different low-ampere power supply so it was also installed with an original one (220v).

A Cat's Chromed 1200s

A brief story:

When they arrived, these decks were awful. First thing I noticed was the smell. They stunk. Then I figured after a closer inspection. They've been a home to a cat. Because both decks had cat fur all over. As I took off the platters and opened them up, there were spoiled cat piss and crap inside.

So here's what's been done to these 1200s:

Scraped the main frames and were chrome plated. One tonearm assembly had been replaced because all pivot screws, tonearm height adjuster and mount were severely stuck due to corrosion (from the dried cat piss). Switch (start/stop, 33/45) assembly (including PCB, tack switches and switch knob) was also replaced on one unit as well as the pitch control which was corroded and beyond calibration. Platters were scraped, re-faced, repainted and re-faced again. One pop-up lamp assembly was also replaced. Since both pop-up lamps were also corroded, the covers were refaced and repainted to flat black including the pop-up lamp guides. Tonearm sections were repainted to glossy metallic black. Rubber base repainted to flat black. New RCA cables and connectors were installed with internal ground. One tonearm clip replaced. All LEDs were also replaced. Super bright blue on the strobe, yellow on the 33/45 and pitch indicators, and super bright white on the converted pop-up lamps. Applied new silver aluminum pitch decals. Tonearms calibrated and lubricated pivot bearings as well as motor spindle, Pitch controls calibrated. These decks also came with a different set of power supplies with very low ampere. Both units were installed with original power supplies. Lastly these decks also didn't have resin isolation. So both were installed.

See before and after pictures below.
