Superman,

Thanks, but I only got one 6sl7.
I do hope I could use this tube in one of my project
in the future.

hi,

1. tubes ending in "8" are mostly tiode/pentode types, can be used as line amps/buffers.
2. tubes ending in "7" are mostly dual triodes, the 13gf7 are dual dissimilar triodes, one of which has a plate dissipation of 11watts! nice one for a triode set amp.
3. 12v6gt can be used as output tubes for a push-pull amp with about 15watts output.
4.6jn6 is a beam power tube ala 6l6 with a 17 watt plate disspiation, can do 25watts imo in push-pull
5. 6jz8/17jz8 - medium mu triode, power pentode, can make a set amp with this tube.

don't worry about the filament voltages, traffos can be made to supply them!
looks like you got a nice stash! even the compactrons can be used.

Sir Tony,

I'll get the qty. of each tube plan a design for those tubes which is useful
and add them to the ever growing to do list.

I'll keep you updated.

Thanks.

fastback,

so then our first order of bussiness would be to salvage all pcb type tube sockets or plate caps still available from your old tv sets, the 2watter carbon films, and  the orange drop mylars are also salvageable.

i can use 2 compactron sockects, please advise if you have them.

thanks
tony

Sir Tony,

I'll do check if I can still salvage some compactron sockets.

hi,

can you post the quantity for each types? who knows, maybe you can sell some of them to finance your tube building. ;D

Sir Tny,

I was very very busy lately,  I'll do inform you right away if I salvage those compactrons sockets.

Thanks
