If I do recall, there used to be a show—on channel 9 I think—where Tommy Abuel played the role of Jose Rizal. Entitled “Luneta”, Abuel would step down from the famous monument and would then mingle and interact with the park goers. Thinking of it now, though my recollection of it is fairly vague, isn’t it such an unusual concept for a TV show? I wonder who were the brains behind it and if it actually lasted on air. Anyone who remembers this series?
