MY MUST HAVE DVDs in region 1 only (I hate r3. ang pangit ng quality)

1)Austin Powers in Goldmember-- Infinifilm version R1. Better than a superbit version in my opinion..
great video and audio with DTS-ES. Nabuhay yung front projector ko. Best video and audio demo film

2)Zorro (superbit)-- Great audio dance scene

3)Earth wind and Fire concert -- very clear video and audio. Sawa na ako sa Eagles and BeeGees

4)Lord of the Rings-- Great surround effects with 6.1 or 7.1

5)Pearl Harbor-- To test your subwoofer. with DTS also

6)TITANIC-- Great surround effects. (although baduy na ang titanic panoorin)

7)Bugs Life-- with DTS Great animation video clarity. Also, Nabubuhay ang projector ko dito

8)The count of monte cristo-- Mediocre audio and video quality but a great movie.

9) Catch me If you can-- Better reserve now. great autobiography

10) Daredevil -- Better reserve now

So Close- Drama of love between sisters...great action sequences...pretty and sexy actresses...great soundtrack...high replay value...highly recommended!

do not be influenced by the bad reviews coz in any movie, satisfaction is subjective

meron ba kayong recommended na online store, balak ko kasi bumili na lang online pag wala pa rin akong nakita dito sa pinas eh...

to test the AUDIO capability of your HT you cant go wrong with the following ASIAN movies. The directors of these movies seemed to have over reacted in terms of AUDIO and VIDEO effects, which made these films good material to test your HT:

...that is WORTH COLLECTING. WORTH COLLECTING because it's a title that you want to play again and again w/o getting bored watching it over and over... or you collect it because it's part of the bible/history. i like the classic/concert music and classic/biblical/historical movies. i already have some bundles of vcd but since i just got my dvd players a few weeks ago, it's only now that i started collecting dvd.

- spartacus (i have a vcd but i'm looking for dvd copy)
- movie about the life of julius caesar (it was shown @ cable tv many times)
- movie about the military career of general arthur mcarthur (it was also shown @ cable tv many times)
- movie about the life of king david (it was shown @ zoe tv 11 many times)
- movie about samson and delilah (shown also @ zoe tv 11)
- movie about the life of joshua (also shown @ zoe tv 11)
- maxim concert live (shown @ MYX tv)
- movie about the life of mahatma gandhi (original is very expensive)
- lorenzo's oil (original is very expensive)
- clash of the titans - movie about greek methology
- and a lot more of classic/fantasy movies shown @ hallmark channel

now....can you suggest what are those dvd titles WORTH COLLECTING? i may not have enough money to buy them all immediately, but at least i can add them to my shopping list. also, please indicate the name of the store/mall where you got those titles. thanks in advance.
