Passed by this morning.  Wala masyadong tao.  Well as of this morning yung mga 375 titles are still 375.  They are not marked down to 333.  Wala pa daw silang memo na ibababa sa 333 ang mga current 375 titles.

Nothing new naman.  No titles really worth noting that is different from the past sales.  The recent releases like Madagascar, Star Wars 3, Titanic 3Dics & War of the Worlds among others are not included.  Warner has plenty of the 299 & 350 titles but no new additions.

One title that caught my eye from the stacks of reserved dvds is Stealth 2Disc.  It seems maraming nagpareserve nito.  I asked the store if kasama sa sale.  Di pa raw alam.  No memo yet.  But maybe daw.  So baka yung "maybe" na yun ay nagpatabi na rin yung mga nagpareserve.

Went there to get Hellboy & yung dating walang pumapansin na Karate Kid 1,2 & 3.  Hellboy wala nang stock as of this morning.  Lahat naka "reserve" na dun sa pile na nakatabi.  But to my surprise, yun Karate Kid trilogy, and daming nagpareserve.  Some even had multiple copies of each.  Available lang are 1 & 3.  So I thought balik na lang ulit ako mamaya.  Baka may dumating pang stock.

So I left without any loot.

Plus, I bought a Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Soundtrack.

Are there several Pete Pan titles?

They did mark down the prices to P333 sir, because I got the following for P1,665 (as stated on the receipt):

13 Ghosts (the 1960 original directed by William Castle)
American Graffiti (dual layer, directed by George Lucas)
Village of the d**ned (directed by John Carpenter)
Catch 22
Metropolis (2-disc, dual layer) - anime directed by Rintaro

They're selling the Indiana Jones boxed sets for P999, its' a no-brainer against buying the trilogy separately even at P333@, hope they have enough stocks though...

Ghostbusters 1 & 2 gift set also at P999.

What do you guys think is a better buy: a Lawrence of Arabia 2-disc SE priced at P333 (and loaded woth extra/bonus features) or the 2-disc Superbit version selling at P475? I'm seriously thinking of buying the title but I have no intention to double-dip because of budget constraints (aren't we all familiar with this dilemma?).

The guys at the counter said they allowed reservations only for last night on the condition that they will be purchased today...maybe they can't refuse their "sukis."

good prospects i saw were The Jackal CE and Taxi Extended Version both priced at P333.

best buy still would be the Indiana Jones Boxset at 999.

Judging from the pricing, 333 each.  But sadly wala yung 2.  Bitin pa tuloy.  Ayoko naman maghanap sa iba ng 2 tapos regularly priced at 895 or 999.

How about Warner titles?  Yun bang mga 596/695 nila ay baba to 299 (i.e. Matrix, etc) and their 895 to 475 (i.e Troy, Matrix Revolutions)?

Got the Indiana Jones Box set plus "The Beginning" and "Noah's Ark" both at PHP250 each, Coach Carter @ PHP333, Shart Tale and Shrek2 (2-disc) both @ PHP475.  Naku naubos na ang bonus ko, patay ako nito kay misis.

Same here...was just intending to buy the Karate Kid trilogy and Hellboy 2Disc.

From the last podium sale kasi with limited budget, I had to choose between top Gun 2Disc and Hellboy 2 disc.  Chose the former.

Then another choice between Karate Kid trilogy and Beverly Hills Cop trilogy.  I chose the latter.

During the last podium sale kasi nagkakaubusan ng Top Gun and last copies na nga Beverly Hills Cop.  Ang daming natirang Hellboy & Karata Kid.  Kaya kala ko wala nang papansin nito this time around.

To my surprise, na out of stock and Hellboy and yung Karate Kid 2.  Saw 4 copies of Hellboy on the reserved file.

Ayaw ko muna bumalik sa Podium...mahirap na baka matukso pa ko sa Indiana Jones etc. Pero iniwasan ko na din kc pangit talaga packaging kahit P999 na ayaw ko pa rin.

Just got back from astro,almost same titles pa din nothing new was added from the previous sales they had and some were priced higher than before like the harry potter series now at 595 when before it was only 450 . I had a list of titles that i wanted to get but most of them were dvd5/single layer copies so i backed out.When i inquired at the counter if they have more titles on stock that is dvd9/dual layer,one of the guys told me na very few titles na lang remaining thats dvd9,according to him more and more titles will be offered on dvd5 to reduce the cost of production.I dont know if that's true but i guess he has a point since most titles were really in dvd5 formats.So i went around the store again and look at titles that are still in dvd9 and bought them he he he.The longest yard was offered in 2 versions,the saleslady said that the cheaper 475 version is single layer while the 850 is in dual layer ???Haay ang pinoy nga naman, kaya pala sale at mura kasi inferior quality.
