ronjet, sorry for the late reply, di ako online since i went back there yesterday.  as of yesterday afternoon, marami pa, walang pumapansin   i returned nga my gladiator since malapit na pala lumabas yung 3 disc.  i also returned school of rock kasi duda ko fullscreen kasi wala nakalagay na widescreen.  also returned guns of navarrone kasi fullscreen din

i just got forrest gump 2 disc (475), hellboy 2 disc (475) and hulk 2 disc (333), in exchange for the ones i returned (yun nga lang dagdag ng konti).  also got tomb raider 1 & 2 (333 @) and Congo (333).

Went there last friday. Only got the following:
1. Hunt for Red October SCE
2. Patriot Games SCE
3. Clear & Present Danger SCE
...all with dts and priced @ P333 each. Also met up w/ a fellow member to get a long overdue reservation. A good enough day for me. Had to let go of a couple of titles though...kuha na lang ako ng R1.

bought the aviator as gift for a friend but decided to get him a  book instead and keep the aviator for myself.  i mmediately open the aviator dvd so i can watch it but to my surprise........IT'S EMPTY!  i called astroplus podium to inform them......talked to mike the manager, told me they will replace it.  that's what i call cutomer service!

Went there last night to see if the Magna titles were still priced @ P375. They still were but the titles I wanted to get weren't. Although madami...halos lahat actually pa rin naka P375, I still had to think about buying. Kaya umalis na lang ako. But you'll never know. Am planning to go back on Friday.

maybe sale sa lahat ng astro? got myself a copy of KUNG FU HUSTLE (FINALLY!) 2 disc for P375 only at Sm Manila Astro also found some superbits titles at Astro SM san lazaro for P475

What titles are these?  I might be able to tell you if talagang kasama siya sa 375 titles even before sa Podium sale so you would know if talagang 333 lang siya during the sale or they got stripped off from the selections under the 375 price range.

Browsed every title under the 375 range more or less.

Actually yung Kung Fu Hustle na naka 375 sa Podium went for 333 nung last sale (Dec 9-11).

Yup both were 333 during the last sale.  Before the sale, hindi nga yata sila kasama sa 375 price range.

Galing akong AstroPlus Podium kanina.  Daming titles na 375.  Actually, daming naka-mark down.  I dunno if this weekend lang yun kasi parang mas unti ung mga naka-mark-down nung nagpunta ako nung Tuesday lang.  Anyway, sabi ng saleslady, until the end of the month daw ung prices na yun.

just been to Podium and got myself the Jack Ryan series seperately (each @ 375) ang boxed set hindi DTS although same price with the ones sold seperately.  They also have a couple of Ice Age Extreme Cool Edition @ 299.  Hindi kasama sa sale ang mga boxed sets as per the sales person.  Sobra dami naka-sale, as per the Viva salesperson yung mga marked down hindi na baba ang price, baka daw yung mga nasa regular price and ilagay sa sale!  Sana!

Would anyone know the difference between the Ice Age Extreme Cool Edition and the Ice Age 2-disc Special Edition?

I already have the 2-disc special edition, and I'm wondering if the Extreme Cool edition would still be a good buy.

I bought the Superman I DVD last week based on the sticker on it saying it was 2-disc.

But upon opening the package, I discovered there was actually only 1 disc in it, although it was dual-sided.

I got turned off a bit because I was expecting 2 discs rather than a dual-sided single disc.

Is this the case for all the other copies of Superman I DVD being sold?

Ice Cube, I think  you got the flipper DVD. It is just the same with the 2-disc release. The flipper is considered 2 discs actually.

Since your Superman I DVD is in DVD18 disc format (double-sided dual-layered disc), I'm assuming that it came in a snapper case.  If that's the case, what you bought is an old stock.  This is the same packaging of my Superman DVD which I bought some two years ago.  Warner's new packaging, even for old titles, are already in the Amaray-type of DVD cases. 

I think they also dispensed with the release of DVD18 formats, which is really okay with me.  I have some DVDs which are in DVD18 format, and I find it difficult to distinguish which side is which.  In addition, extra care is required in the handling of this type of DVD.  Kasi, ang laki ng possibility na magasgas o malagyan ng finger marks ang either side.

You may want to ask the store if they can replace the one you bought with a newer stock.

I also prefer the 2-disc rather than a dual-sided single disc for exactly the reason you noted.
